Warning
Only use Braun power supply type 492.
Do not exchange or tamper with any part of the appliance and the power supply.
Keep them dry.
Do not use if the appliance or the power supply is damaged. This appliance can
be used by children aged from 8 years and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised.
Important
To prevent the cleaning fluid from leaking, ensure that the cleaning station
is placed on a flat surface.
When a cleaning cartridge is installed, do not tip, move suddenly or transport
the cleaning station in any way as cleaning fluid might spill out of the
cartridge.
Do not place the cleaning station inside a mirror cabinet, nor place it on a
polished or lacquered surface.
The cleaning cartridge contains a highly flammable liquid so keep it away from
sources of ignition.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight and cigarette smoking nor store it over a
radiator.
Do not get cleaning fluid in the eyes!
Do not refill the cartridge and use only original Braun refill cartridges.
Before using the cleaning station the shaver needs to be dry and free from any
foam, gel, or soap residue!
The cleaning cartridge contains ethanol or isopropanol (specification see
cartridge), which once opened will naturally evaporate slowly.
Therefore, each cartridge, if not used daily, should be replaced after
approximately 8 weeks.
The used cartridge can be disposed of in the household waste, or via household
hazardous waste programs if they exist in your province/ municipality.
Make sure to close the openings using the lid of the new cartridge, since the
used cartridge will contain a contaminated cleaning solution.
Only use the appliance for its intended purpose.
Product contains batteries and/or recyclable electric waste.
For environmental protection, do not dispose of household waste, but for
recycling take to electric waste collection points provided in your country.

How to start
Install the cleaning station according to the pictures.
For charging and/or cleaning insert the shaver upside down and with its back
facing the front.
After pushing the start button the shaver will be cleaned and charged
successively.
Leave the shaver in the station for drying.
It takes several hours until the remaining moisture evaporates, depending on
the climatic conditions.
