Mounting Tips
This is an adjustable indoor/outdoor camera. For outdoor use, please mount the camera vertically upward to avoid rain or snow getting in the device. We recommend to mount the camera less than 16 feet above the ground (*alarm system won’t be triggered above this height).

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
SETTING UP THE SYSTEM

Switch the power button on to wake up the camera.

Press the Sync button for about 5 seconds until you hear a ‘Du’ sound with the red light flashing.

Go to the Home V app, then add your device by tapping on the ‘+’ button; follow the app instruction to finish the setup process.
Mounting The Camera
Step 1
Option 1A
We recommend you use a 1/4 inch drill bit to drill holes on the wall, then insert the provided anchors. (Anchors are necessary for walls that are made out of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.) Mount the round adapter plate on the wall with two screws.
Option 1B
To install the camera on smooth surfaces, you can peel off one film from the double-sided sticky adhesive pad, then directly stick it on the round adapter plate; peel off another film and stick the round adapter plate on the surface.
Step 2
Place the nut onto the round adopter plate.
Step 3
Firmly press the camera mount holder onto the round adapter plate, then rotate the nut, clockwise to the camera mount holder.
Step 4
Vertically place the camera upward on the camera mount holder. then rotate the
camera 90 degrees clockwise to tighten it; To adjust the camera viewing
angles, you can check the live stream feed in your Home V app and loosen the
nut to help adjust.
*PIR sensor is designed to detect people, pets & other warm moving objects. Putting the sensor in a wrong location can lead to blind spots and false alarms, so it’s important to place the camera near where the sensor is clear of obstacles.
