FOOD PREP
SELECT FOOD
- Liquids: soups, cereals, beverages
- Semi-solids: oatmeals, mashed potatoes, puddings
- Solids: fruits, vegetables, meats
PREPARE FOOD
Obi works best when food is prepared within the range above.
INSERT FOOD
Fill bowls with food. Overfilling is not recommended.
SETUP
INSERT SWITCHES
Position the device on a stationary, dry, horizontal surface. Move the Arm to
the right, as shown. Insert the desired Accessibility Switches.
INSERT PLATE & PLACE MAT
Clean Plate and Spoon before ǩrst use. Insert the colored Placemat, then place
the Plate on top.
ATTACH SPOON
Attach the Spoon and press the Power Button.
TEACH MODE
ENTER TEACH MODE
Position the user to be upright and stationary. Press the Teach Button.
DETERMINE LOCATION
Grasp Arm with the thumb covering the Teach Icon. Lift and Press the Teach
Button again to store the position.

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. Do not teach a delivery position inside of the mouth.
WARNING: Risk of electrocution. Only service the device with an authorized representative.
EATING
CHOOSING FOOD
Touch the Choose Switch to move the Spoon one bowl counter clockwise.
DELIVERING FOOD
Touch the Deliver Switch to scoop and transport food to the delivery location.
RETURNING ARM
Touch the Deliver Switch to return the Spoon to the bowl.
CLEANING
Clean the Plate, Placemat, and Spoon in a sink or dishwasher (top rack).
Clean Obi’s Base and Arm with a disinfectant wipe.
COLLISION
If the Power Button Flashes, please remove the obstructing object. Once
removed, touch either switch and the Arm will resume its motion.
CHARGING
Connect the Charging Cable to Obi’s Charge Port and an electrical outlet. All
Battery Indicator Lights will illuminate when the device is fully charged.
DANGER: Risk of electrocution. Do not submerge or put in dishwasher
WARNING: Risk of electrocution. Only service the device with an authorized representative.
