STEPS FOR USB VIDEO CAPTURE (OBS)

Install & Open the OBS software and Add new source

Choose “Video Capture Device”

Click:USB Video-Custom-1920*1080-Match-MJPEG Choose the “Resolution” and “FPS” that match your device.

Set the audio output as following: ( the “Use custom audio device”)

Click “settings” in the bottom right of OBS Studio
Click “Audio”at the left;Click “48K at Sample Rate
Click “Stereo”at Voice Channel; Click “USB Audio Device at Mic/Auxiliary Audio Device.
When the audio setting is finished, restart the OBS audio system [ otherwise it will cause no sound output ] -
Click “Studio Mode”
Click “Double Window (Optional)
Click “Start Recording”

Connecting operation
- Connect the UHD signal source with the HDMI input port of the USB capture card through 1 HDMI cable.
- Plug the USB male header of the USB capture card into the USB port of the computer.
- Acquis·1tion steps (OBS): Open the software …. add a new so urce ….. select ‘video capture device’ …. set the screen size -+select ‘Studio Mode’ (dual window) -+ click ‘Start Recording'(as shown in the example below).

- What latency is expected with the device? * This depends on your PC config and if its Intel I5 -7th Gen or higher-
- Phone Screen – Does not capture video out -Whats wrong?*
- Check if your phone supports video out. Connect phone directly to a TV and see if it works. Refer: Pibox.in/willcwork.
- What can you do to improve latency? * Allocate higher CPU priority to OBS. Check background processes and make sure no other applications are using resources.
- Why is the device warm?*
Its normal to see the device warm. We are using the vents to bring out the heat.
