  3. Use the screw to fix the bracket on the left or right bottom angle of the water dispenser.

  5. Fix the bracket on the floor by screwing tightly.
  6. Tighten the screw.

Maintenance

Set-Up

LOCATE DISPENSER
Notice: Do NOT plug power cord into wall outlet until instructed.

  1. Place dispenser upright. NOTE: If dispenser has been laid on its side, please allow it to remain upright for at least 24-hours prior to use.
  2. Locate dispenser on a hard and level surface in a cool shaded location near a dedicated receptacle.
  3. Position dispenser so the back is at least 4 inches from wall and there is at least 4 inches of clearance on both sides.

INSTALL SAFETY BRACKETS
WARNING To prevent the water dispenser from tipping, please install the enclosed safety bracket.

  1. Loosen the screw of the left or right bottom angle just as the picture shown.

INSTALL DRIP TRAY & COVER

  1. Remove drip tray and cover from protective packaging.
  2. Slide drip tray assembly into position and secure.

INSTALL WATER BOTTLE

  1. Open lower cabinet door.
  2. Located inside the cabinet is the water bottle straw. Carefully pull out the water bottle straw and place on front door hanger.
  3. Clean the outside of the water bottle with a clean cloth.
  4. Insert the water bottle straw into the water bottle.
  5. Slide the collar down until it locks into place.
  6. Press the head down until the tube hits the bottom of the bottle.
  7. Slide the water bottle into the cabinet and close the door.
  8. Water will not pump from water bottle until door is fully closed.

NOTE: To minimize mineral deposits which can clog lines and cause odors and off-tastes, use only high quality purified bottled water.
DO NOT USE TAP WATER TO REFILL WATER BOTTLE.

PLUG INTO A GROUNDED OUTLET
Plug dispenser into a dedicated GFCI outlet. At this time, the water pump will begin to move water from the bottle to the hot and cold tanks. It will take up to 4 minutes to fill the tanks for the first time. During this period, the pump will run continuously. This is normal. NOTE: The dispenser is intended to be plugged into a (GFCI) ground fault circuit interrupting receptacle.

HOW TO CHILL COLD-WATER:

  1. Simultaneously press the cold water dispense button (#9) and instant hot water button (#10) for 3 seconds.
  2. When activated, the compressor will turn on and the cold water cooling indicator on the display area, will turn white and flash on and off.
  3. When the cold-water temperature is satisfied, the cold water cooling indicator will stop flashing on and off and remain on.
  4. NOTE: Any lime the water temperature is not at the set temperature, the cooling system will turn on and the cold water cooling indicator will flash on and off.

HOW TO HEAT WATER:

  1. Simultaneously press the Unlock button (#6) and Hot water dispense button ****(#7) for 3-seconds.
  2. When the hot water is healing, the hot water heating indicator ****will turn white and flash on and off.
  3. When heating is complete, the hot water heating indicator ****will stop flashing on and off and remain on.
  4. NOTE: Any time the water temperature is not at the set temperature, the healing system will turn on and the hot water heating indicator ****will flash on and off.

ACTIVATE NIGHTLIGHT
Notice: By default, the night light ****is turned on when power is available. After 60-seconds, when the water dispenser is not in use, the night light will turn off. It will turn on again as soon as any button is pressed.

  1. To turn on this feature, press the night light button ****(#5) once.
  2. The night light and night light icon will turn on.

HOW TO TURN OFF NIGHTLIGHT

  1. To turn off this feature, press the night light button once.
  2. The night light will turn off night light status indicator ****will turn off.

RIGHT & LEFT TOUCHLESS TECHNOLOGY
This water dispenser supports Touchless Technology whereby you do not have to touch the appliance to dispense cold or room temperature water. Simply place your right or left hand over the sensor to dispense water. This makes ii completely hygienic and safe to use.

RIGHT TOUCHLESS SENSOR- COLD WATER DISPENSE

  1. Hold right hand over sensor, about two inches, for 1-second to dispense cold water.
  2. To stop dispensing water, remove hand.

Note: If you do not need the function, Long press the cold water dispense button (#9) and hot water dispense button ****(#7) for 3 seconds. the function will be shielded and the buzzer will ring for 3 seconds. By repeating the previous steps, you can enable the function again.

LEFT TOUCHLESS SENSOR- ROOM TEMPERAURE WATER DISPENSE

  1. Hold left hand over sensor, about two inches, for 1-second to dispense room tempera­ture water.
  2. To stop dispensing water, remove hand.

ECO MODE
ECO Mode was developed to save energy. When ECO mode is turned on, the hot water heating system interacts with the built-in light sensor. When on, the hot water heating system will turn back on when light is detected for 60-seconds. When the lights turn off, the hot water heating system turns off to save energy when not in use.

How to Turn ON ECO Mode

  1. Press and hold the night light & ECO button (#5) for 3-seconds.

  2. When ECO mode is turned on, the ECO icon turns white on the display.
    How to Turn OFF ECO Mode

  3. Press and hold the night light & ECO button (#5) for 3-seconds.

  4. The ECO mode icon will turn off.

Operation Instructions

This water dispenser has been tested and sanitized prior to packing and shipping. During transit, dust and odors can accumulate in the tank and lines. Dispense and dispose at least one quart of water prior to drinking any water.

  • Dispensing Cold Water Temperature (39°F – 55°F I 4°C – 13°C)
  • Tank Capacity: 3.6L, Flow Rate: 35ml per second I 1.5 L per hour

After setup, cold water will be available in approximately 1-hour. During this time, the compressor will run continuously. This is normal.

  • Dispensing Hot Water Temperature : (167°F – 199°F I 75°C – 93°C)
  • Tank Capacity: 1L, Flow Rate: 35ml per second I 1.5 L per hour

WARNING This unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns. Avoid direct contact with hot water. Keep children and pets away from unit while dispensing. Never allow children to dispense hot water without proper and direct supervision. Unplug unit to prevent unsupervised use by children.
After setup, hot water will be available in 15 – 20 minutes. During this time, the heating system will start to boil the water inside the tank. This is normal.

Failure to execute the instructions in this manual can cause personal injury or property damage. Models that heat water dispense at very high temperatures. Failure to use properly can cause person injury.
When operating this dispenser, always exercise basic safety precautions, including the following:

  • Prior to use, this dispenser must be properly assembled and installed in accordance with this maual.
  • This dispenser is intended for water dispensing only. Do NOT use other liquids. Do NOT use outdoors.
  • For indoor use only. Keep water dispenser in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do NOT use outdoors.
  • Install and use only on a hard, flat and level surface.
  • Do NOT place dispenser into an enclosed space or cabinet.
  • There must be at least 4 inches clearance on the sides of the dispenser to permit airflow.
  • The dispenser is intended to be plugged into a ground fault interrupting receptacle.
  • Do NOT use an extension cord with your water dispenser.
  • Do NOT use this dispenser if cord becomes frayed or otherwise damaged.
  • To protect against electric shock, do NOT immerse cord, plug or any other part of dispenser in water or other liquids.

Cold Water Dispense Button

  • How to Dispense Cold Water:
1. Press and hold the cold water dispense button (#9).
2. Remove finger from cold water button to stop dispensing cold water.
3. Water will take approximately 1-hour after initial set up to reach its coldest temperature. The cold water cooling icon will stop flashing once the water has been fully chilled and remain on.

How To Chill Cold-Water:

  1. Simultaneously press the cold water dispense button (#9) and instant hot water button (#10) for 3-seconds.
  2. When activated, the compressor will turn on and the cold water cooling indicator on the display area, will turn white and flash on and off.
  3. When the cold-water temperature is satisfied, the cold-water cooling indicator will stop flashing on and off and remain on.
  4. NOTE: When the water temperature is not at the set temperature, the compressor will turn on and the cold water cooling indicator will flash on and off.

How To Increase or Decrease the Cold-Water Temperature:

  1. Press and hold the up button ****(#4) for 3-seconds.
  2. When activated the display area will flash the current temperature of the cold water.
  3. To adjust the temperature, either press the down arrow.  (#2) or up arrow. (#4) to adjust the temperature lower or higher, accordingly.
  4. There are 3-preset temperatures you can select; 39 ° F, 42 ° F and 48° F.
  5. Press the lock key (#6) once again to lock in the temperature.
  6. Note: 39° F, 42° F and 48° F is refrigerating holding temperature, The corresponding refrigeration starting temperature is 45 °F, 50 ° F and 55 ° F. So cold water temperatures are in three ranges: 39-45° F, 42-50° F,48-55° F.comfee-CWB41D5AST-Deluxe-Bottom-Loading-Water-Dispenser- \(17\)

Hot Water Unlock Button and Hot Water Dispense Button How to Dispense Hot Water:

  1. Press the Unlock (#6) and then press and hold the hot water dispense ****(#7).
  2. Remove finger from hot water button to stop dispensing hot water.
  3. Water will take approximately 15-minutes after initial set up to reach its hottest temperature. The hot water heating icon will stop flashing once the water has been fully heated and remain on.

    How to Activate the Self-Cleaning Ozone Feature:
1. Press and hold the Ozone ****button (# 1) for 3-seconds.
2. When activated, the  ****on the Display Area turns white and a green light bar is activated at base of display area.  

Note: Typical noises you will hear is the ozone pump turn on and bubble sounds from inside the water cooler, this is normal.

3. During the self-cleaning process, ozone will be produced and injected into the water system, it will kill bacteria and biofilms typically found in water dispensers. By the end of the cleaning cycle the ozone will convert into harmless oxygen and will be emitted into the air.
4. After approximately 60-minutes, the self-cleaning function will turn off.
5. The ozone icon and green line will continue to be displayed for an additional 30- minutes to allow the ozone to properly vent from the water.
6. After the ozone to properly vent from the water, the ozone icon and green line will be on for 24 hours.
7. It is recommended to start the self-cleaning ozone feature during a period when the unit will not be in use, for example right before you go to bed.

Note: This self-cleaning cycle will take 90 minutes to complete. During this time, the water intake function is unavailable. We recommend you do this during a period of time when the unit will not be in use for example overnight. During the cycle you may smell some of the ozone, this is normal.

How To Replace Empty Water Bottle

  1. Open the cabinet door.
  2. Place the probe assembly on the probe hanger.
  3. Place a fresh bottle outside of cabinet.
  4. Remove the entire plastic cap from the top of bottle.
  5. Clean the outside of the new bottle with a cloth.
  6. Place the probe into the bottle.
  7. Slide the collar down until ii clicks into place. If you are using a 3 gallon bottle rather than a 5 gallon bottle you can adjust probe by pressing the two tabs at the head of the probe and sliding the collar down to the neck of the bottle.
  8. Push the head down until the tube hits the botton of bottle.
  9. Slide the bottle into cabinet and close the door.

NOTE: To minimize mineral deposits which can clog lines and cause odors and off-tastes, use only high quality purified bottled water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER TO REFILL WATER BOTTLE.

Outside & Inside Cleaning

WARNING To avoid electrical shock, the dispenser must not be cleaned by water jet and unplug the water dispenser before performing the cleaning operation .
WARNING All cleaning procedures should be performed by an adult.

Rinsing, Cleaning & Draining
Notice: To prolong the lifetime of the water dispenser, it is recommended that the unit be cleaned and sanitized manually every six-months. The water cooler will hold approximately 4-liters of water
How to Clean the Outside of the Unit:

  1. Clean your cabinet, controls, water bottle probe and water spout each time you change your water bottle. Use a clean soft cloth and a food grade sanitizer.

  2. Remove and rinse out your drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse completely and dry before using.
    How to Clean the Inside of the Unit:
    WARNING To avoid electrical shock, unplug the water dispenser before performing the cleaning operation.
    NOTE: The machine has been disinfected prior to departing the factory. However, it is recommended to rinse and drain the unit prior to installation.

  3. Unplug unit from wall.

  4. Open cabinet door and carefully pull out water bottle.

  5. Remove water bottle straw from water bottle and hang on door hanger.

  6. Close door and place water bottle in a safe location.

  7. Unscrew safety brackets from floor.

  8. Carefully pull unit away from setup location, caution the unit is heavy.

  9. Looking at the back top of the unit, remove the two screws from the top cover, see illustration below.

  10. Lift up on the back edge of top cover and pull up, careful, the top cover is connected with wires.

    How to Clean the Inside of the Unit, Continued:

  12. Notice: If the unit has water inside the cold tank, skip to step 14.

  13. Pour a half gallon of clean water into the cold tank. (The cold tank is the open cylinder that the plastic white cover was removed from.)

  14. Place a 5-gallon bucket under the drain outlet plug located on the back of the unit.

  15. Remove the drain cover and plug, water will start to drain from the unit.
    Note: Water will start flowing as soon as the drain cover is removed, see illustration below.comfee-CWB41D5AST-Deluxe-Bottom-Loading-Water-Dispenser-

  16. When water stops draining, install the drain plug, it is not necessary to re-install the plastic drain plug cover at this point.

  17. Note: If you skipped to step 14, go back to step 13 and follow the instructions.

  18. Reinstall the cold water tank internal seperature and top cover. Make sure the top cover snaps onto cold water tank.

  19. Check to make sure wires did not get pinched under cold water tank cover. If wires are pinched, carefully remove the top cover and reinstall.

  20. Reinstall the top cover with the two screws.

  21. Slide the unit back into place and reinstall the safety brackets to the floor.

  22. Insert water bottle straw into water bottle and carefully slide water bottle into cabinet.

  23. Close door and plug unit into a GFCI wall outlet.

Deep Cleaning

Notice: Keeping your water cooler clean provides you the best chance of benefitting from all the watery goodness without any contamination. Deep cleaning every 6-months will help to remove mineral deposits from the water systems.

WARNING

  • To avoid electrical shock, unplug the water dispenser before performing the cleaning operation.
  • All cleaning procedure should be performed by an adult.
  • This unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns.

  1. Unplug unit from wall.

  11. When water stops draining, re-install the drain plug and drain cover.

Prepare Citric Acid or Vinegar Solution:
Notice: The water cooler will hold approximately 4-liters of water, follow the recommended instructions on how to prepare the citric acid or vinegar solution.

  1. Pour the prepared solution of water into the cold tank. (The cold tank is the open cylinder that the plastic white cover was removed from.)
  2. Re-install the plastic white cold tank cover. Make sure the cover is seated properly to the cold water tank. Note: Make sure the wires are not pinched when installing the plastic cover.
  3. Note: The internal white plastic seperator does not to be installed at this time.
  4. Place the top cover into position. It is not necessary to completely install the top cover at this point.
  5. Plug the unit into the wall and follow “How to Heat Water” steps.

How To Heat Water:

  1. Simultaneously press the Unlock button (#6) and Hot water dispense button ****(#7) for 3-seconds.
  2. When the hot water is heating, the hot water heating status icon ****will turn white and flash on and off.
  3. When heating is complete, the hot water heating status icon ****will stop flashing on and off and remain on.
  4. NOTE: Any time the water temperature is not at the set temperature, the heating system will turn on and the hot-water status icon ****will flash on and off.

Citric Acid or Vinegar Solution Working Time:

  1. Heating hot water will take approximately 15 minutes to boil. When the water is heated to temperature, allow the water solution to sit an additional 10-minutes. This will allow the solution to deep clean the cold and hot tank thoroughly.
    WARNING Before removing the Drain Outlet Plug, allow the water dispenser to sit and cool down for 45-minutes. The water will drain directly from the hot tank, if water is not properly cooled, this unit dispenses water at temperatures that can cause severe burns. Avoid direct contact with hot water. Keep children and pets away from unit while dispensing & deep cleaning. Never allow children to dispense hot water without proper and direct supervision. Unplug unit to prevent unsupervised use by children.

  2. Unplug the unit from the wall.

  3. Place a 5-gallon bucket under the drain outlet plug located on the back of the unit.

  4. Remove the drain cover and plug, water will start to drain from the unit.

  5. When water stops draining, re-install the drain plug and drain cover.

  6. Reinstall the cold water tank internal seperature and top cover. Make sure the top cover snaps onto cold water tank.

  7. Check to make sure wires did not get pinched under cold water tank cover. If wires are pinched, carefully remove the top cover and reinstall.

  8. Reinstall the top cover with the two screws.

  9. Slide the unit back into place and reinstall the safety brackets to the floor.

  10. Insert water bottle straw into water bottle and carefully slide water bottle into cabinet.

  11. Close door and plug unit into a GFCI wall outlet.

When operating this dispenser, always exercise basic safety precautions, including the following:

  • Before use, this dispenser must be properly assembled and installed by this manual.
  •  This dispenser is intended for water dispensing only. Do NOT use other liquids. Do NOT use outdoors.
  • For indoor use only. Keep the water dispenser in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do NOT use outdoors.
  • Install and use only on a hard, flat and level surface.
  • Do NOT place the dispenser into an enclosed space or cabinet.
  • There must be at least 4 inches of clearance on the sides of the dispenser to permit airflow.
  • The dispenser is intended to be plugged into a ground fault interrupting receptacle.
  • Do NOT use an extension cord with your water dispenser.
  • Do NOT use this dispenser if the cord becomes frayed or otherwise damaged.
  • To protect against electric shock, do NOT immerse the cord, plug or any other part of the dispenser in water or other liquids.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an original manufactured part. Please contact customer service.

This is the only express warranty for this product and is instead of any other warranty or condition. This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair of replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our opinion; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the prouduct to us and our returning the product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.
