Install the vertical stand

To install the vertical stand, follow these steps:

  1. Place the Dell Wyse Cloud Client Wyse 5010 on a stablesurface.
  2. Attach the vertical stand to the back of the device by aligning the stand’s connectors with the corresponding slots on the device.
  3. Gently push the stand towards the device until it locks into place.

Connect the keyboard and mouse
To connect the keyboard and mouse to the Dell Wyse Cloud Client Wyse 5010, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the USB ports on the device.
  2. Connect the USB end of the keyboard cable to one of the USB ports.
  3. Connect the USB end of the mouse cable to another USB port.

Connect the network

To connect to the network, you have two options:

  • Option 1: Ethernet Connection (10/100/1000 Base-T)
    1. Locate the network port on the device.
    2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the network port.
    3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your network switch or router.
  • Option 2: Fiber SFP Connection
    1. Locate the Fiber SFP module on the device.
    2. To remove the Fibre SFP module, rotate the latch and unplug it from its slot.
    3. Connect the Fiber SFP module to your fiber optic network using a compatible fiber optic cable.

Connect the display

To connect the display to the Dell Wyse Cloud Client Wyse 5010, follow these steps:

  • Option 1: DVI-I Connection

    1. Locate the DVI-I port on the device.
    2. Connect one end of the DVI-I cable to the DVI-I port.
    3. Connect the other end of the DVI-I cable to your display’s DVI
      input port.
  • Option 2: VGA Connection

    1. Locate the VGA port on the device.
    2. Connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA port.
    3. Connect the other end of the VGA cable to your display’s VGA input port.
