GENERAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
-
Read the owner’s manual of the engine that is to be lifted and determine its lifting points accordingly.
-

-
Loosen Wing Screws (G) and spread two Standing Brackets (A). Then place the Standing Brackets, on which rubber cushions have been attached, over the lips adjacent to the fender of your engine compartment and tighten the Wing Screws securely. Now center the engine support beam over the engine.
-
Attach the Chains (L) to the engine at the correct lifting points. Then loop the Chains securely to the flanges at the bottom ends of the Support Screws (K).
-
Turn the Handles (J) clockwise until the Chains are taut and the engine is held securely.
-
Loosen engine mounts. Turn the Handles (J) at a 1/4* turn clockwise for each until the entire weight ofthe engine is supported by the chains.
Additionally, loosen/disconnect the engine mounts. -
Never work on the engine while it is supported ONLY by the Engine Support Beam. Moving the engine when it is suspended only by the Engine Support Beam may cause the tool to fall or shift, resulting in serious personal injury and/or property damage.
