LACROSSE 308-1415v3 Wireless Temperature Station
Power Up
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
- Insert the 5 volt power cord into the outlet, then into your Temperature Station. Optional: Insert 2-AA batteries for backup.
- Once the Outdoor Sensor is reading to your station, place it outside in a shaded location to protect from the sun’s heat.

Custom Date Display
Press the MODE button to select between full Weekday or Calendar (Weekday, Month, Date) display.
Settings Menu
- Hold the MODE button to enter the Settings Menu.
- Use the + / – button to adjust, and MODE to confirm.
Settings Menu order:
- Language (English, Spanish, French)
- Beep ON/OFF
- 12/24 Hour Time
- Hour
- Minutes
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Fahrenheit/Celsius
Language: When Español or Francais is selected, the following
instructions and weekday will be presented in that language.
Weekday: Weekday sets automatically when Year, Month and Date are set.
Adjustable Backlight
- When operating with the power cord, the backlight is constant and adjustable.
- Press the LIGHT button to change the backlight brightness (HI/LO/OFF)
- When operating on batteries alone, press the LIGHT button to activate the backlight for 10 seconds.
Button Functions
The buttons are located on the front of your station.
MODE| Press to view full Weekday or Calendar display. Hold to enter the
Settings Menu.

+ (PLUS)
| Press to view HI/LO Records.
When viewing HI/LO Records: Hold to delete a record.
Settings Menu: Press to increase value. Hold to increase quickly.
– (MINUS)
| Settings Menu: Press to decrease value. Hold to decrease quickly.
Search for Sensor: Hold to search for outdoor sensor.
LIGHT| Press to adjust backlight HI-LO-OFF.
HI/LO Temperature Records
The indoor and outdoor HI/LO temperature records will reset daily at midnight.
This provides a daily 24 hour HI/LO reading.
View: Press the + button to view HI and LO Records since midnight.
Reset: While viewing individual records, hold the + button to reset to
current temperatures.
Temperature Trend Arrows
Both the Indoor and Outdoor temperature have Trend Arrows to indicate temperature changes (2°F / 1°C) over the past three hour period.
- The temperature has risen over the past 3 hours.
- The temperature has been steady over the past 3 hours.
- The temperature has fallen over the past 3 hours.
Search for Outdoor Temperature
If you are seeing dashes for your outdoor readings, please try the following steps:
- Hold the – button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
- If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and clock.
- Press any button on the clock 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
- Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your clock. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart
- If your outdoor data is still not appearing after these steps, please contact our support staff via the links below.
Low Battery Indicator
- By the Indoor Temperature, replace batteries in the station.
- By the Outdoor Temperature, replace sensor batteries.
Sensor Shield (not included)
- The Sensor Weather Shield is designed to protect your outdoor sensor from rain and snow.
- This shield will offer limited protection from the sun’s heat.

Care & Maintenance
Battery Replacement Instructions
When batteries of different brands or type are used together, or new and old
batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a
difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and
rupture and may cause personal injury.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
- Remove used batteries promptly.
- For recycling and disposal of batteries, and to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and/or follow local government regulations.
