WARNING
When using electric gardening appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal
injury, including the following:
Gardening Appliance Safety

Avoid Dangerous Environment: Do not use appliances in damp or wet locations.

Keep Children Away – All visitors should be kept at a distance from work area.

Dress Properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts.
Use of rubber gloves and substantial footwear is recommended when working outdoors. Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair. -
Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles, hard hat and heavy-duty rubber work gloves. Use face or dust mask if operation is dusty.

Use Right Applianc -Do not use appliance for any job except that for which it is intended.

Avoid Unintentional Starting – Do not carry appliance with finger on switch.

Do Not Force Appliance – It will do the job better and with less likelihood of injury at the rate for which it was designed.

Maintain Appliance With Care – Keep cutting edge sharp and clean for best performance and to reduce the risk of injury. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Keep handles dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.

Check Damaged Parts – Before further use of the appliance, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other condition that may affect its operation. Blower Safety

Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.

Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
-
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or
use in areas where they may be present. -
Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.

Remove all hard objects from work area. Do not blow debris in the direction of people, animals or property.

Use only accessories provided. Keep guards in place and in working order.

Maintain labels and nameplates on the appliance. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Litheli for a replacement.

The battery Charger gets hot during use. The Charger’s heat can build up to unsafe levels and create a fire hazard if it does not receive adequate ventilation, due to an electrical fault, or if it is used in a hot environment.
Do not place the Charger on a flammable surface. Do not obstruct any vents on the Charger.
Especially avoid placing the Charger on carpets and rugs; they are not only flammable, but they also obstruct vents under the Charger.
Place the Charger on a stable, solid, nonflammable surface (such as a stable metal workbench or concrete floor) at least 1 foot away from all flammable objects, such as drapes or walls. Keep a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector in the area. Frequently monitor the Charger and
Battery Pack while charging. -
People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemaker failure.

Lithium Battery Safety Warnings
LITHIUM BATTERIES STORE A LARGE AMOUNT OF ENERGY AND WILL VENT FIRE OR
EXPLODE IF MISTREATED:

Keep Battery Pack dry.

DO NOT DO ANY OF THE FOLLOWING TO THE BATTERY PACK:
a. Open,
b. Drop,
c. Short-circuit,
d. Puncture,
e. Incinerate,
f. Expose to temperatures greater than 104°F. -
Charge Battery Pack only according to its Charger’s instructions.

Inspect Battery Pack before every use; do not use or charge if damaged.
Battery Charger Safety
- SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains important safety and operating instruction for battery charger Model UlBR21103.
- Before using battery charger, read all instructions and cautionary markings on battery charger, battery, and product using battery.
- CAUTION – To reduce risk of injury, charge only Ii-ion type rechargeable batteries. Other types of batteries may burst causing personal injury and damage.
- Do not charge or use appliance in rain, or in wet locations.
- Do not use battery-operated appliance in rain.
- Remove or disconnect battery after use, before servicing, cleaning or removing material from the gardening appliance.
- Do not dispose of battery in a fire. The cell may explode. Check with local codes for possible disposal instructions.
- Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to the eyes or skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.
- Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets, and keys. The battery or conductor may overheat and cause burns.
Vibration Safety
This tool vibrates during use.
Repeated or long-term exposure to vibration may cause temporary or permanent
physical injury, particularly to the hands, arms and shoulders. To reduce the
risk of vibration-related injury:
- Anyone using vibrating tools regularly or for an extended period should first be examined by a doctor and then have regular medical check-ups to ensure medical problems are not being caused or worsened from use. Pregnant women or people who have impaired blood circulation to the hand, past hand injuries, nervous system disorders, diabetes, or Raynaud’s Disease should not use this tool. If you feel any symptoms related to vibration (such as tingling, numbness, and white or blue fingers), seek medical advice as soon as possible.
- Do not smoke during use. Nicotine reduces the blood supply to the hands and fingers, increasing the risk of vibration-related injury.
- Wear suitable gloves to reduce the vibration effects on the user.
- Use tools with the lowest vibration when there is a choice.
- Include vibration-free periods each day of work.
- Grip tool as lightly as possible (while still keeping safe control of it). Let the tool do the work.
- To reduce vibration, maintain the tool as explained in this manual. If any abnormal vibration occurs, stop use immediately.

Grounding
WARNING: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK AND DEATH FROM INCORRECT GROUNDING:
Check with a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the
outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the power cord plug provided with
the charger. Do not use the charger if the power cord or plug is damaged. If
damaged, have it repaired by a service facility before use. If the plug will
not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Extension Cords
NOTE: Extension cords must not be used with this item’s Charger.

- Rechargeable battery contains lithium! Do not dispose of in trash bin!
- Discharge the rechargeable battery by operating the tool at idle until the motor stops.

- Dispose of the batteries at a collection point for old batteries, from where they are taken to environmentally friendly recycling.

Functions
Charging the Battery Pack
NOTE: The Battery Pack comes partly charged. Charge the Battery Pack
prior to first use, ideally at least 60 minutes.
Always pull out the Power Plug of the Charger from the mains before removing
or connecting the Battery Pack to the charger. Never charge the Battery Pack
when the ambient temperature is below 10 °c or above 40 °c.
Rest the Charger for at least 15 minutes between successive charging sessions.
If no Battery Pack is inserted into the Charger and the charger is connected
to mains, the Charging Status LED flashes green.
- Align the Battery Pack to the rails of the Charger and slide it in. Ensure it clicks noticeably in place.
- Connect the Power Plug of the Charger with the mains. The Charging Status LED lights up red. The continuously lit green Charging Status LED indicates that the charging process is complete.
- Disconnect the Power Plug of the Charger from the mains and remove the Battery Pack from the charger.
- Attach the Battery Pack back to the product (see “Installing and Removing Battery Pack”).

Checking the Battery Charging Level
NOTE: Press the Battery Level Button to check the charging level of the
Battery Pack. The charging level will be shown on the Battery Level Indication
Lights.
Charge the Battery Pack before operation when it is at 25% or low battery
charging level.

Release Trigger of the appliance and remove battery pack before performing any
procedure in this section.
Attaching Blower Tube
- Slide Blower Tube over Blower Outlet, lining up. Blower Tube’s Slot over Blower Outlet’s Tab.
- Rotate Blower Tube clockwise to lock in place.

WARNING TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM FLYING DEBRIS:
Wear long pants, long sleeves and protective footwear. Wear ANSI-approved
safety gog gles, dust mask, hearing protectors, and gloves.
Charging Battery Pack
-
Place Battery Charger on a dry, flat, fireproof surface indoors.
NOTE: Allow battery to cool completely before charging. -
Examine Battery Pack. Do not charge a cracked, open, or leaking Battery Pack, or charge a
non-recommended type of Battery Pack. -
Battery Pack is designed to fit this Charger specifically. If Battery Pack does not fit Charger properly, do not try to insert it. Do not force Battery Pack into the Charger.

Plug Charger into a grounded, 120VAC, 60Hz receptacle. Green LED will blink, showing that power is supplied to the charger.
-
Slide Battery Pack onto Charger. Red LED will light continuously while charging.
Note: A fully discharged Battery Pack will take about 1 hour to fully charge.
Note: While charging, Battery Pack and Charger may become warm to the touch and the Charger’s fan may come on. This is normal. -
Green LED will light continuously when Battery Pack is charged. Unplug Charger and remove Battery Pack when finished.

Allow Battery Pack to cool completely before use.
Installing and Removing Battery Pack
- To install: Slide Battery Pack into slot on back of Blower until it clicks into place.
- To remove: Press both Battery Pack Release Buttons and pull Battery Pack out of slot.
Operation
WARNING TO AVOID SERIOUS INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE:
Inspect the area before using the Blower. Remove all hard objects from work
area. Do not blow debris in the direction of people, animals or property.
Use both hands when operating Blower.

Assemble Blower according to. Assembly Instructions on page 8.
NOTE: Rake or sweep to loosen debris if necessary. -
Hold Blower with both hands, with the
Tube several inches off the ground. -
Press Trigger Safety Lock, then press Trigger. Adjust Variable Speed Dial as necessary.
-
Press Turbo Speed button to increase air speed. Release button when done.
-
Sweep from side to side.
-
Release Trigger when done.
-
When finished, to prevent accidents:
- Remove battery pack.
- Wipe external surfaces of the appliance with clean cloth. Store in an indoor dry area out of reach of children.
User-Maintenance and Storage
Procedures are not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician.

Release Trigger of the appliance and remove battery pack before performing any
procedure in this section.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM APPLIANCE FAILURE:
Do not use damaged equipment. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the
problem corrected before further use.
Cleaning, Maintenance, and Lubrication
- BEF ORE EACH USE, inspect the generalcondition of the appliance. Check for:
- loose hardware,
- misalignment or binding of moving parts,
- cracked or broken parts,
- damaged electrical wiring, and
- any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
- AFTER USE, wipe external surfaces of the appliance with clean cloth. Store in an indoor dry area out of reach of children.
- Li-on BATTERY MUST BE RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY. Do not short, incinerate or open battery.
- All parts are permanently lubricated. Donot use additional lubrication.
