Getting Started
Connect the AC Power
Power on the Notebook
I- Connect the AC Power
It is strongly recommended to connect the AC/DC adapter to the notebook and
use the AC power while using this notebook for the first time since some
models may require the AC/DC adapter to be connected in order to power the
notebook safely and properly.
i. Unpack the package to find the AC/DC adapter and power cord.
ii. Attach the power cord to the connector of the AC/DC adapter.
iii. Plug the DC end of the adapter to the notebook and the male end of the
power cord to the electrical outlet.
II- Power On the Notebook
When the AC power is connected, press the power button to turn the notebook
on.

A. Launch the Dragon Center application.
B. Switch to Super Battery mode, the power saving mode provided by Dragon
Center.
C. Enable or disable the Webcam function.
D. Select a proper user scenario between Extreme Performance/ Balanced/
Silent/ Super Battery/ User provided by Dragon Center.
E. Enable or disable the Airplane Mode function.
F. Switch the display output mode between the LCD, external monitor, and both.
G. Enable or disable the touchpad function.
H. Decrease the LCD brightness.
I. Increase the LCD brightness.
J. Decrease the built-in speaker’s volume.
K. Increase the built-in speaker’s volume.
L. Mute the built-in speakers.
M. Force the computer into sleep state (depending on the system
configuration).
N. Increase the keyboard LED brightness level.
0. Decrease the keyboard LED brightness level.
