Receiving Calls
Your emergency contacts can call you on your Medi Alarm
- By default, only your emergency contacts can call your Medi Alarm. This can be changed to allow calls from any number. See programming instructions for more details.
000 Emergency
You can have 000 as an emergency contact but it is not recommended
- If a false alarm happens, and the wearer does not speak to 000 to say everything is okay, there is a chance they will send police or an ambulance when it was not required.
- If you would still like to have 000 as an emergency contact, please avoid having 000 first. It is better if other Contacts can answer the call first to find out what is going on, and then call 000 on the wearer’s behalf.
Water-Resistant
Can be used in the shower, but do not submerge underwater.
- Soapy water can get inside the device and void the warranty.
- Place the Medi Alarm into a zip-lock bag or place it on an easily accessible hook or ledge.
