SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by the user failing to follow the instructions in this manual, the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, negligent use, or uses not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. -
Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Before inserting the plug into the main socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.

Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.

Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is a danger to life due to electric shock!

To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.

Do not touch the appliance if it falls into the water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.

Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.

Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.

Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

This appliance is intended for domestic use only and not for commercial use.

Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

Do not vacuum any sharp-edged, hot or incandescent materials.

Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce airflow.

Do not use the appliance without a dust container in place.

Do not vacuum any flour, cement, etc., in order to avoid the overloads.

Avoid the nozzle touching the surface of the furniture.

Substances to be vacuumed: Cold ashes from fireplaces, wood/coal stoves, ashtrays, grill, etc.
“Cold Ash” is the ash cooled down for a sufficient time without any embers inside. This can be confirmed by scouring the ash by using metal tools before using the appliance. Cold ash does not emit any recognizable heat.
Restriction of use:
- Do not use it for the separation of health-hazardous dust (dust classes L, M, H)
- Do not vacuum soot.
- Vacuum ashes only from admissible fuels.
- Do not vacuum any hot, burning, or glowing objects.
- Do not vacuum any object that is hotter than 40 °C.
- Do not vacuum any flammable substances.
- Always check the hose and the appliance for overheating when vacuuming.
NOTE: This appliance has a safety system of overheating protection which will automatically switch off the unit when overheated. If overheating occurs, switch off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket, and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes to start the machine again.
OPERATION

Open the cover of the appliance, and check that the HEPA filter is in position and the butterfly nut is tightened. (Fig. 1)

Take the hose, the aluminum tube, and crevice nozzle out of the dust container. Place the cover back. Fasten the dust container with the cover firmly by the container lock tabs. (Fig. 2)

Insert the hose into the suction hole. Turn the hose clockwise to fix it by the slot in the brim of the suction Make sure they are connected firmly. (Fig. 3)

Insert the aluminum tube into the other end of the hose. (Fig. 4)
Optionally, insert the crevice nozzle into the aluminum tube. (Fig. 5) -
Unwind the power cord. Plugin the appliance; press the on/off switch to run the machine.

When the dust full indicator shows red, please clean the appliance.

If the suction power decreases, press and hold the dusting button during use for self-cleaning. The appliance will shake the HEPA filter to get rid of the dust. For better performance, you can press that button while having the aluminum tube covered against the ground.

Press the on/off switch to turn off the appliance, and then unplug it.
NOTE: The hose can also be inserted into the air outlet for air blowing function. Blow the trash as needed.
**** When people leave, please unplug the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
- Open the appliance to take out the HEPA filter. Wipe off the dust on the filter with a brush carefully over a trash can. If necessary, hit the mesh cover of the filter to clean the dust on the surface of the filter. If dust is accumulated too much, take down the filter from the cover (see reference in section “Replacement of the HEPA filter”) and clean the filter from inside to outside by clear water. The filter cannot be used again until it is dry.
- Empty the dust container. Pour the dust into the trash can. Clean the dust on the inner wall of the dust container. If necessary, use a wet cloth to wipe the surface of the dust container.
- After cleaning, assemble the appliance again.
Note: Empty and clean the appliance before and after vacuuming to avoid the collection of materials that could cause a fire hazard in the appliance.
Replacement of the HEPA filter
- Turn the cover upside down. Loosen the butterfly nut anticlockwise. (Fig. 6)
- Hold the cover to shake the filter, letting the filter leave the fixed bottom. Then hold and pull the filter upwards. (Fig. 7)
- Take a new filter and press it into position. Make sure the hole on the filter should go through the fixed bolt. (Fig. 8)
- Fix back the butterfly nut. (Fig. 9)
- Place the cover back. Fasten the dust container with the cover firmly by the container lock tabs. (Fig. 10)
ERROR DETECTION

Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
