Adjusting the SAT system to the best possible reception withthe SAT Finder
-
Disconnect the SATreceiver from the power supply and connect the SAT Finder as shown in the illustration with ashort F-plug cable between the LNB and receiver.
-
Connect the receiver back to the power supply and select aprogram slot.
-
Adjust the sensitivity regulator (1) until the level drops.
-
Set the SATaerial (SATdish) roughly to the desired satellites using
the protractor and compass. Find the right satellites by turning and swivelling the SATaerial. -
The stronger the incoming SATsignal, the higher the measuring tone sounds. At the same time, the level (needle) on the signal strength display (2) increases from weak „1“ through medium to strong „10“.
-
When the level shows the maximum „10“, the sensitivity regulator (1) is turned back until the level shows „reduced“ again.
-
Now finely adjust the antenna to achieve the maximum value of „10“ again.
-
Attaching the aerial fastenings with screws.
-
ATTENTION: Tightening the screws can change the set value again.
-
Check on your receiver whether you can still receive the satellite you want.
-
You can now remove the SATFinder and reconnect the LNB and receiver.
