Important SAFETY INFORMATION
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
AC power is like normal household outlets. It is suggested that you treat it
with the same respect that you would any AC outlet.
- DO NOT insert any foreign objects into the unit’s outlet, vents or fan openings.
- DO NOT expose the Inverter to moisture, rain, or snow.
- DO NOT connect unit to utility power distribution systems or branch circuits.
As your vehicle’s battery is used, voltage begins to fall. When the unit senses that the voltage has decreased to 10.5 V, the MSl175 will automatically turn off, protecting your battery form failure. When using a vehicle battery as a power source, it is recommended you start your vehicle at least every tow hours to recharge the battery. Do not run vehicle in enclosed area. If an AC product is rated higher than 175 Wis plugged into the unit, the inverter will shut down to prevent damage to the unit or product. If the unit exceeds an optimal operating temperature, the inverter will shut down. Always be sure the unit has enough free space around the ensure proper ventilation. If a short should occur in the AC device the unit will shut down.to prevent damage to the unit or product.
INVERTER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
AC OPERATION
- Plug the inverter into your Vehicle’s accessory socket. The green LED lights showing the unit has power.
- Plug an AC-powered device into the three-prong AC receptacle and turn it on. Make sure that the power rating of the device is less than the .. peak power· of the inverter.
- To ensure draining your vehicle’s battery, always remove the unit from the 12 V outlet when not is use.
USB OPERATION
- Powers most consumer electronics that have a USB power port. Consult the product’s owner’s guide for exact details.
- Plug the inverter into your Vehicle’s accessory socket. The green LED lights showing the unit has power.
- Plug a USS-powered device into the three-prong AC Receptacle and turn it on.
- To ensure draining your vehicle’s battery, always remove the unit from the 12 V outlet when not is use.
WARNINGS
- Use only for original intended use. No serviceable parts inside. Altering or tampering with the product or any of its components may result in shock, fire, product damage and /or vehicle damage.
- This product includes an in-line fuse for electrical protection and is the only consumer serviceable part of this product.
CAUTION
- Check the manufacturer’s specifications for proper voltage.
- Make sure total draw of all accessories is less than 10 Amps.
FUSE REPLACEMENT
- Turn tip counterclockwise to open fuse socket.
- Replace fuse with 20 Amp fuse only.
ATTENTION: Maximum wattage available depends on power outlet rating.
- amps x volts = watts.
- A 10 amp outlet can only supply 120 watts
- a 15 amp outlet can supply up to 180 watts
