MPA 30 Media Player Amplifier
Safety instructions
When using this electronic device, basic precautions should always be taken, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using the product.
- Do not use this product near water (e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc).
- Use this device when you are sure that it has a stable base and is fixed securely.
- This product, in combination with loudspeakers and amplifiers, may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult with an otorhinolaryngologist.
- The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat vents, or other devices that produce heat
- The product should be connected to a power supply that is described in the operating instructions or is marked on the product.
- The power supply should be undamaged and never share an outlet or extension cord with other devices. Never leave the device plugged into the outlet when it is not being used for a long period of time.
- Care should be taken that objects do not fall into liquids and liquids would not be spilled on the device.
- The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if: – The power supply or the plug has been damaged. – Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled on the product. – The product has been exposed to rain. – The product has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
- There are some areas with a high voltage inside, to reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove the cover of the microphone receiver or power supply. The cover should be removed by qualified personnel only.

Before you start
MPA 30 media player amplifier is designed for paging, announcements and
background music public address systems. It has an FM radio tuner and 30 W
power amplifier with high and low impedance outputs. Supports compressed audio
playback and recording from AUX/PHONO input to USB flash drives or memory
cards.

Music Player Functions
MP3 PLAYER
Select mp3 file memory source (7) and select mp3 player mode (3). Control
playback using play controls (1 & 8).
REPEAT MODE
Pressing repeat button (6) changes player repeat mode:
FM RADIO
Press MP3/FM (3) to switch the music player to FM radio mode.
RECORDING AUDIO
MPA 30 allows recording audio from AUX/PHONO input. Adjust recording level (4)
and press REC (5). Select record storage using USB/SD key (7) and press REC
(5) one more time to start recording. REC message on the screen indicates
successfully recording.
If an ‘ERR’ message appears on the screen, press the “STOP’ button, check
storage and try again.

Front Panel Functions
MICROPHONE INPUT
Unbalanced microphone input.
PRIORITY MICROPHONE INPUT
Unbalanced microphone input that has a priority over the microphone, AUX/
PHONO input, and music player.
TONE CONTROLS
Control bass (±10 dB at100 Hz) and treble WO dB at10 kHz) tone properties.
AUX/PHONO LEVEL
Control AUX/PHONO
input volume.
MASTER VOLUME
Control device master volume.
POWER
Switch MPA 30 ON/OFF.
Back Panel Functions
DC 12 V POWER INPUT
Power up the amplifier when mains power is unavailable. Use only DC 12 V power
supply or batteries and take attention to polarity during wiring.
AMPLIFIER OUTPUTS
Connect the audio line to the amplifier. There are 4 types of outputs: low
Impedance 4 0 output, high impedance 25 V, 70 V, and 100 V outputs.
PREAMPLIFIER OUTPUT
Line level output directly from the preamplifier Can be used to insert signal
processors such as an equalizer or limiter.
DIRECT AMPLIFIER INPUT
Line level input directly to the power amplifier.
AUX/PHONO INPUT
The stereo RCA input with selectable sensitivity. Can be used to connect line-
level audio sources as well as photographs.
