Safety instructions

When using this electronic device, basic precautions should always be taken, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using the product.

  2. Do not use this product near water (e.g., near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool etc).

  3. Use this device when you are sure that radio receiver has a stable base and it is fixed securely.

  4. This product, in combination with loudspeakers and amplifier may be capable of producing sound levels that could cause permanent hearing loss. Do not operate for a long period of time at a high volume level or at a level that is uncomfortable. If you experience any hearing loss or ringing in the ears, you should consult with otorhinolaryngologists.

  5. The product should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, heat vents, or other devices that produce heat.

  6. The product should be connected to a power supply that is described in the operating instructions or are marked on the product.

  7. The power supply should be undamaged and never share an outlet or extension cord with other devices. Never leave device plugged into the outlet when it is not being used for a long period of time.

  8. Care should be taken that objects do not fall into liquids and liquids would not be spilled on the device.

  9. The product should be serviced by qualified service personnel if:
    ­ The power supply or the plug has been damaged.
    ­ Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled on the product.
    ­ The product has been exposed tor ain.
    ­ The product has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.

  10. There are some areas with high voltage inside, to reduce the risk of electric shock do not remove cover of the microphone receiver or power supply. The cover should be removed by the qualified personnel only.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. No user- serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this apparatus to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Introduction

Rack mount professional music player with built-in DAB and FM tuners. These professional player can be used 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They are carefully assembled with high quality components. Radio tuner with 20 radio station presets, RDS. IR Remote control is included in delivery with each player.

Front panel operation

POWER SWITCH
Press power switch to turn on/off the main power.

PRESET BUTTONS
These buttons are designed to recall or save radio station to the presets 1-10. If SHIFT button was pressed before the number, radio station will be recalled or stored to the 11 – 20 preset memory. If button is pressed for the long time, current radio frequency will be stored to the preset memory. If button was pressed shortly – radio station will be recalled from the memory.

SHIFT BUTTON
Shift button enables second function of the preset buttons.

MUTE
Mutes audio output.

LCD DISPLAY
Display main receivers information. Radio station frequency, RDS information and menu.

MODE
This buttons allows to change receivers working mode. DAB or FM tuner.

IR RECEIVER
Designed to receive control commands from the IR remote control.

DOWN & UP
When “UP” or “DOWN” button is pressed for a short time receivers frequency will be changed by steps. Every time when “UP” button is pressed frequency is increased. Every time when “DOWN” button is pressed frequency is decreased. Keep button pressed for continuous frequency adjust. Use these buttons to navigate in menu as well.

MENU
Press this button to enable menu.

INFO
Pressing this button in DAB mode, will change the content of the information display such as signal strength, signal error rate, program type, time and date, channel frequency, and transfer rate.

ENTER
Allows to enter to the selected menu and confirm settings.

Rear panel operation

ANTENNA
Antenna connector for DAB and FM antenna.

STEREO RCA OUTPUT
Line level audio output.

POWER CONNECTOR
Power connector is designed for main power connecting to the radio receiver.

FUSE HOLDER
Fuse holder for T630mA, 250V fuse.

SLEEP
This button is designed for sleep time setting. Press SLEEP, then use Down or UP key to select SLEEP OFF or set sleep timer. In Order to confirm setting press Enter.

FM LIST
Displays FM station list.

NAVIGATION SELECTOR
Allows to navigate and make adjustments in receivers menu.

IR remote control operation

PRESET BUTTONS
These buttons are designed to recall radio station from the presets 1-10.

SLEEP
This button is designed for sleep time setting. Press SLEEP, then use Down or UP key to select SLEEP OFF or set sleep timer. In Order to confirm setting press Enter.

FM LIST
Displays FM station list.

SCAN
Press and hold for longer than two seconds to activate full radio stations scanning.

MODE
This buttons allows to change receivers working mode. DAB or FM tuner.

MENU
Press this button to enable menu.

INFO
Pressing this button in DAB mode, will change the content of the information display such as signal strength, signal error rate, program type, time and date, channel frequency, and transfer rate.

ENTER
Allows to enter to the selected menu and confirm settings.

PRESET
Press PRESET button first in order to recall the preset station, then use UP or DOWN key to select one of 1-20 preset stations. Press ENTER key to confirm the selection. Store the station into the memory: Press PRESET key, than use UP or DOWN key to select one of 1-20 memory position. Press ENTER and hold for longer than two seconds to store the present station.
