Solar Animal and Bird Repeller USER INSTRUCTION
Thanks for your purchasing this item. Please read and understand these instructions and keep this manual for future reference. This item uses solar power to recharge the batteries so it is always working after the battery is recharged. At the same time, in order to make the product better, you can also use the charger. The Passive Infrared sensor(PIR) detects motion and triggers, then the ultrasonic speaker emits a tone that animals can feel and chase away .
Operation
- A strong ultrasonic wave to frighten animals. The wave’s activated when an animal enters the PIR Sensor range and then animals feel uncomfortable and will run away from the area.
- A strong flashing white-LED to scare animals.The strong flashing white-LED will be activated when an animal enters the area, then animal will be scared and flee away.
- Charging indication function:When charging, the indicator light flashes slowly. When the charging is completed, the indicator light turns off.
SET UP
- Button “Sensitivity” (Right):You can adjust the item sensitivity. By turning the knob clockwise, the detection distance will be increased.
- Button “Frequency” (Left):This is to control frequency.By turning the knob clockwise, you can choose the operating frequency band.
Button “Frequency” position as below:
- 0:OFF
- 1: 13.5kHz-20kHz to repel animals such as mice, rats, dogs, foxes,martens etc
- 2: 15.5kHz-25kHz to repel animals such as cats, raccoons,badgers, skunks etc
- 3: 25kHz-34.5kHz to repel animals such as bats, birds, rodents etc
- 4: Strong flashing lights to repel animals such as raccoon, boar, marten etc
- 5: 13.5kHz-40kHz to repel all animals above, and turn on strong flashing.
To Assemble and Install
- First of all, in order to ensure better use of this product, tear off the protective film on the solar panel and charge it in the sun for 4-5 hours before starting to use.
- Place the unit pointed towards the area that you want to protect(for example,in the flowerbed or against the wall etc.)
- Remember to choose a place where the solar panel of the top can get as long time sunshine as possible.
- If you mount the unit in the ground, insert the spike into the ground carefully. (Figure 2 to connect the pole sections.) Please leave the spoke 12cm or more above the ground. (Figure 2) It is suggested that you dig a hole and then insert the unit to ensure no damage occurs.
- The item can be inserted in the ground or mounted against the wall, or put the top part directly on the flat surface.
- If the product no use for a long time (more than 1 month), the batteries power may be fully released. It is suggested to charge the batteries 3-5 times to activate and they will become normal to use.

- If there are a few days as cloudy or rainy, you must charge the batteries as long time sunshine as possible.
- Red LED: indicates the unit is activated.
- Charging current: 250mA.(Charger selection:5V,500mA-1A).
- Infrared sensor angle: 110 degrees
- Detection range: 6-8 meters depending on animals size (the bigger size, the larger range).

Caution:
- It happens that human can hear part of its range. So put the device as far as possible from human life place. Do not install the device in children and baby playing ground area.
- Do not cover up the PIR sensor or Solar panel.
- To clean the device, use damp-soft and mild soap with water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents that may damage the device.
- The length of the work depends on the frequency of the trigger. If the trigger is too frequent, the battery will be low and the latter will not work.
- We recommend charging time in 4-5 hours or you can wait until the charging indicator is off.
