Safety Information

Please read and comply with all of the instructions and warnings provided in this manual before using the product.

• Check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance to avoid electric shock and/or a fire hazard.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid to avoid electric shock and/or a fire hazard.
• Do not use the appliance near gas appliances, heating devices, or fireplaces.
• Do not use the appliance in wet surroundings or in surroundings with high ambient temperatures, such as the bathroom, toilet, or kitchen.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not place or insert anything into the appliance from the opening outlet.
• Do not place anything on top of the appliance and do not sit on the appliance.
• Do not block the air inlet and outlet, e.g., do not use this item on a soft surface such as a bed, sofa, or carpet to avoid tipping over; blocking the air inlet and outlet. Additionally, the villus or fiber of your carpet will block the air inlet after a long time of use, making it unable to completely take in the dust and particles in the air, which might result in a black circle on the carpet.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use it with any solid-state speed control device.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord, or the appliance itself is damaged. Please return it to the distributor, or a service center authorized by the distributor for inspection to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance is only intended for household use under normal operating conditions. Please do not use it outdoors.
• Always unplug the appliance after use and before you clean it.

Caution
Remove the air filter from its packaging before use!

1. Remove the filter cover on the underside of the unit and take out the filter.
2. Remove the plastic bag and reinstall the filter and filter cover.

Product Structure

A — Night Light ON/OFF Button;
— HEPA Filter Reset Button (Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, the filter will turn off after completing the reset so that the appliance can recalculate the filters’ lifetime.)
B — Indicates high fan speed
C — Indicates medium fan speed
D — Indicates low fan speed
E — Indicates fan sleep mode
F — Power /Fan Speed Button:
Press the power button to switch on the appliance; Press the button again to adjust the fan speed level; Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to switch off the appliance.

Features

The RENPHO RP-AP068 air purifier is compact and suitable for use in bedrooms, study rooms, offices, and other spaces of about 10 square meters. The product has a 3 stage filtration system: Pre-filter, Activated Carbon Filter, and H13 True HEPA Filter. It removes common airborne pollutants, and gives you a healthier living environment, and clean fresh air!

Cleaning and replacing the filter

Filter Replacement

The filter reset button will light up when the air filter needs to be replaced. Only use RENPHO RP-AP068 True HEPA Filters when changing the filter for this device. Follow the steps below to correctly replace the filter in your air purifier. Visit Amazon.com and search the RP-AP068 Filter to purchase replacement filters.

1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it.
2. Place the appliance upside down on a flat surface.
3. Press the hooks at the bottom then pull out the filter cover.
4. Pull the filter out, but the new filter back to the groove, and press it slightly.
5. Switch on the appliance, press the filter reset button, and hold for 5 seconds to complete the filter reset.

Filter Replacement Force Mode
When using the air purifier in an environment of heavy pollution, the lifespan of the air filters may be significantly reduced. You can change the filters even if the indicator does not light up. Follow the steps below to perform a force reset.

1. Replace the air filter as mentioned steps in the Replacing the Air Filters section.
2. Plugin the air purifier and turn it on.
3. Press and hold the filter reset button for 5 seconds, and it will flash for 3 seconds. The reset is complete when the flash stops.

Clean the Filter

1. Remove the filter as above steps.
2. Clean the inside and outside of the filter with a vacuum cleaner.
3. Put the filter back into the appliance. Attach all hooks properly to the appliance.

Note

• Always unplug the appliance before you clean it.
• Check and clean the filters once a month at least, more frequently if you use the appliance in a dusty environment.
• Please clean or replace the HEPA filter when the HEPA filter turns gray or black.
• After the HEPA filter has been used for a long time, the airflow of the machine will decrease due to the accumulation of pollutants. It is recommended to replace the HEPA filter every 6 months for optimal functioning of the appliance.
• The HEPA filter is NOT washable.
• Never use aggressive or flammable cleaning agents such as bleach or alcohol to clean any part of the appliance.

Troubleshooting

Air purifier
does not work.| The plug is not connected  to an electrical outlet| Connect the plug to a powered electrical outlet.
The power button is not on.| Press the power button once to turn on the air purifier.
Significantly reduced airflow.| Filter packaging has not been removed.| Remove filter packaging before use.
Fan speed is low.| Press the fan speed button to adjust the fan speed.
The filter is dirty or has not been replaced.| Replace the filter.
Not enough clearance on all sides of the purifier.| Ensure there are at least 15 inches (38 cm) of clearance on all sides of the purifier.
Poor air
purification quality.| The room is too large for the air purifier’s applicable area.| E Ensure the room is smaller than 103 sq. ft.
The Air inlet or outlet is blocked.| Remove objects blocking the air inlet or outlet.
The filter reset light is still on after replacing the air filter.| The air filter’s lifetime has not been reset.| Press the filter reset button and hold for 3 seconds to complete the filter reset.

Warranty (1-Year Period)

The manufacturer’s warranty is void under the following circumstances but not limited to:

• Improper or inadequate maintenance or modification.
• Accident, misuse, abuse, contamination, or other external causes.
• The use of unspecified adapters and accessories.
• Loss or damage in transit.
• Damages occur as a result of one’s failure to follow the instructions.
• This warranty does not apply to expendable or consumable parts and does not extend to any product from which the serial number has been removed.
