LUVIEW JY-M745W 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Backup Camera System

Product Information

The product comes with several accessories including Li-Support Bracket, Mount Bracket Option, Power cable, and Angle Adjustment Screws. Please note that the accessory supply may vary depending on the application.

The product has basic operations such as volume decrease/increase, menu item selection, and start/stop recording. The product also supports reversing display with the activation of different wires. The product allows volume selection under quad view and has a menu option for operation under single image mode.

Installation

Center Mounting Bracket Installation

To install the center mounting bracket, adjust the monitor level by sliding the support to the desired height. Then, adjust the angle of the monitor and tighten the knob on the center mounting bracket.

U-Support Bracket Installation

For U-support bracket installation, adjust the angle using angle adjustment screws.

Reversing Display

The monitor automatically switches to different cameras based on the activation of different wires. When the green wire is activated, the monitor switches to CAM1. When the white wire is connected to the positive wire of the left turn light, the monitor switches to CAM2 (left side camera) when the left turn indicator is
activated. Similarly, when the blue wire is connected to the positive wire of the right turn light, the monitor switches to CAM3 (right side camera) when the right turn indicator is activated. When the brown wire is connected to the positive wire of back-up light, the monitor automatically switches to CAM4 (back-up camera)
when the back-up light is turned on.

The yellow wire can be connected to the positive wire for automatic switching to quad or split display. The connection depends on the application request.

Volume Selection Under Quad View

The column icon on the top right area on a single channel stands for audio out for the selected channel. Press the up or down button to select the channel for audio out.

The menu option is allowed for operation under single image mode, not under quad view. Press MENU to display the following options and settings: MODE, PICTURE, MIR-FLIP, RECORD, AUTOSCAN, SYSTEM, PLAY, and PAIRING.

  1. To select MODE, press the right button, press MODE to enter the submenu, and select QUAD/H-SPLIT/SPLIT. Press MENU to return to the
    main menu.

  2. To select PICTURE, press the right button, and press MODE to enter the submenu. Select BRIGHTNESS/CONTRACT/HUE/VOLUME. Press the
    right button to select the setting and press MODE to enter it accordingly. When the icons turn red, press the right button on the menu for selection decreasing or adding. Press MODE to exit the menu. At the submenu, press MENU to return to the main menu.

  3. To select MIR-FLIP, press the right button, and press MODE to select NORMAL/MIRROR/MIR-FLIP/FLIP. Press MENU to return to the main menu.

  4. To select REWRITE/FORMAT, press the right button, and press MODE to enter the setting accordingly. When the icons turn red, press the right button on the menu for selection decreasing or adding. Press MODE to exit the menu. At the submenu, press MENU to return to the main menu.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Install the necessary brackets and accessories for your application.
  2. Use the MODE button to enter menu items or save user settings. Use the MODE button shortcut to start/stop recording.
  3. To adjust the center mounting bracket, slide the support to the desired height and adjust the angle of the monitor. Tighten the knob on the center mounting bracket. For U-support bracket installation, adjust the angle using angle adjustment screws.
  4. Connect different wires for automatic switching of cameras based on the activation of different indicators or lights.
  5. Use the up or down button to select the channel for audio out under quad view.
  6. Use the MENU button to access different options and settings for operation under single image mode.

Basic Operation

Reversing Display

Volume selection under quad view

Check the column icon on the top right area on single channel. It stands for audio out for the selected channel.

REWRITE: When disk is full, the monitor will delete the earliest manual/timing record file one by one, and keep recording.

FORMAT: Micro SD card must be formatted before being used. All documents in TF card will be lost once users format the disk.

If the channel is turned OFF, image of the corresponding camera will not be shown in AUTOSCAN display mode. Setting scale of SCANTIME is 5-45S, with the step time of 5s.

System-12to select recording file, Press MODE to enter playback mode. Daily recording file can be searched under file folder named in format of YYMMD D. Each file folder includes the video files which are named in format of HHMMS Channel Source(1,2,3,4). For example, 130903 stands for year 2013, September 3rd. 100953_3 stands for 10:09:53 am, Cam3. The recording file format is AVI , maximum recording time for every single file will last for 1 O minutes.

System-12to select PAIRING, then press MODE to enter. Or Press MODE for 3 seconds to enter PAIRING.

Auto pairing:

  1.  Choose the channel that needs to be set up, and the monitor display the message “PAIRING START 50” and a counter that counts down 50s.
  2. Within the countdown, power the camera.
  3. The monitor and cameras will synchronize themselves with each other after the camera is powered for 5s.
    For successful auto pairing, the picture appears. If pairing is unsuccessful, the monitor displays the message “No Signal”. Repeat the pairing procedure.

Manually pairing

  1. Choose the channel that needs to be set up, and the monitor display the message “PAIRING START 50” and a counter that counts down 50s.
  2. Press the pairing button on the power-on came
  3. The monitor and cameras will synchronize themselves with each other.
  4. For successful auto pairing, the picture appears. If pairing is unsuccessful, the monitor displays the message “No Signal”. Repeat the pairing procedure.

For the recording time of TF cards with different capacities, please refer to the table below. The actual recording time is subject to the operating environment.
