PLEASE NOTE:

  • Speaker volume is limited to comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Radio reception quality may be slightly distorted depending on the surroundings. To prevent damage to the radio, do not use it in a high-temperature or high-humidity environment for prolonged periods of time. To prevent damage to the hearing protector and radio within, do not subject it to rough handling.

PRECAUTIONS

  • These headphones contain a noise-canceling feature. Noise-canceling senses the outside noise with a built-in microphone and sends an equal but opposite canceling signal to the headphones. The noise-canceling effect may not be as pronounced in a very quiet environment, or some noise may not be heard.
  • The noise-canceling effect may vary depending on how the earmuffs are worn and work best for noise in a low-frequency band primarily.

MAINTENANCE

  • Inspect the hearing protector regularly for cracks and signs of leakage. Earmuffs, in particular cushions, may deteriorate with use and age. Clean the outside of the muffs and cushions with soap and a damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents.

STORAGE

  • Ensure that the muffs are clean and dry before storage. Store the muffs at room temperature, away from dust. Do not store in direct sunlight. Exposure to direct sunlight in places such as car interiors, which may reach temperatures of up to 14of (6oc), may warp the product, affect the performance of the electronics, or lead to malfunctioning. Do not store where the temperature could drop below freezing. Do not extend the headband. To avoid uneven compression of the earcup cushion, ensure that the cushion lies flat against each other and that there are no creases in them. To prevent damage, remove the batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • If the radio stops working: check for correct battery installation. Make sure the battery plates are clean and contact the batteries. Ensure the hearing protector is dry. If necessary, install new batteries.
