BATTERY

Different types of batteries or new and used batteries cannot be mixed. Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity. Please remove exhausted batteries from the product. Batteries shall be disposed of in a safe way. Only dispose batteries in specific collection containers (contact your retailer for more information) in order to protect the environment.

WARNING: Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as Sunshine, fire or the like.

OPERATION

Take the clock out of the box and put 1 x 1.5V AA battery (not included) into the movement as shown. Set time by turning the time knob on the back of the unit (movement) following indicated turning direction.

WARNING
Never turn the hands (minute and second hands) anti-clockwise; this will damage the movement. Remove consumed batteries before storing the clock otherwise the movement will be damaged.

CARE AND HANDLING

For Stainless Steel and Aluminum material clocks
Make sure that if your clock is stainless steel or aluminum material, you do not touch the case surface with bare harnds, spots and finger prints will appear on the clock surface. Please unpack the clock with covered hands. To remove spots or finger prints, you can buy special stainless steel polish in shops.

SPECIAL FUNCTION (GLOW IN THE DARK)
If your clock comes with a “glow in the dark” function on the dial (clock face),, here below is the data for your reference Glow in the dark effect can generally last for a maximum of 1.5 -2 hours The length of glow relies on many factors ie

  1. how bright the light source where the clock is positioned
  2. even there is light in the room, location of the clock can affect light absorbance which in turn affects the brightness and length of glow
  3. within the length of glow, brightness is expected to fade gradually After approximately 1.5-2 years, the luminosity of the dial will decrease in strength

FAQ

Battery rapidly running out of power
This can be the reason for numerous factors used batteries, battenes being stored for too long from production or quality of battery is not up to production standard to maintain a healthy operation. Please use a new battery or try diferent battery brand; remember not to use rechargeable ones (exception is the NeXtime USB battery, these are designed for use in a clock).

Clock hands are running slower than usual
It may be due to the cap in the middle of the hands being pressed down too deeply, this can affect the way the hands run. lo, resolve this gently remove the cap and place it back on so it is not as tight.

Clock hands are loose
This can occur to clocks with no tace protecting it, be careful when dusting or unpacking to prevent this from happening. It they do become loose, remove the cap, then remove the hands carefully using your thumb and index finger.

Put back together, first the hour hand, then the minute hand making sure they are both against the plastic axe. Piace the cap back on; not to tignt and re- set the time.

THE WARRANTY EXPIRES DUE TO
incorrect Use, incorrect connection, leaking and/or wrongly inserted battery, tne use o of moisture, fire, flood, lightning strikes, natural disasters and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Unauthorized modifications and/or servicing by third parties. Incorrect transport of the product without adequate packaging and if the product is not accompanied by this Warranty Card and a valid proof of purchase. Connection cables, plugs, and batteries are not covered in this warranty. Every other liability Tor any consequential losses are excluded. This time clock is covered by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase. The final decision on repairs and/or replacement under warranty is at the discretion of Nextime or its distributor.
