instruction booklet carefully before using it.

USER MANUAL
Before using the Class 2 Power Supply, read these instructions carefully.

CAUTION
- Ensure the jack is plugged into the trimmer unit before plugging the adapter into the outlet.
- Do not operate any appliance that has a damaged output cord or housing.
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning or when not in use.
- This power unit is intended to be correctly oriented in a vertical or floor-mount position.
- Be sure the voltage is correct before plugging in.
For connection to a power supply not in the U.S.A, use an attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for a power outlet. The adapter included automatically adjusts to the input voltage. DO NOT USE WITH A VOLTAGE CONVERTER.
TRIMMER OPERATING
PRECAUTIONS
This trimmer has a built-in rechargeable battery. Do not throw into the
fire, apply heat, charge, use or leave in a high-temperature environment.
CAUTION: Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the
Conair Corporation, the manufacturer of this product, and the party
responsible for the compliance, could void the user’s authority to operate the
equipment.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If your rechargeable trimmer does not seem to be taking a charge, take the following troubleshooting steps before returning it for repair:
- Be sure the electrical outlet is working by plugging in another appliance to test the outlet.
- Make sure the electrical plug is not connected to a switch that turns the power off when lights are turned off.
- Make sure the adapter is inserted into the trimmer properly and all the connections are

CHARGING
- Before using the trimmer for the first time, charge continuously for 3 hours. Maximum battery capacity will be reached only after 3 charging and discharging cycles.
- To charge the trimmer, first ensure the trimmer is switched off, plug the USB cable into the USB port on the USB adapter with an output of 5.0V DC, 1000mA, then insert the Micro USB plug into the bottom of the trimmer. Plug the adapter into any wall outlet (at the voltage listed on the label affixed to the adapter). Unplug the adapter when not in use.
- The adapter may become warm while charging, this is normal.
- The red charging LED indicator light on your new tool will light up when correctly connected to the main power, which will then turn off and the green LED light will then appear once the battery is fully charged.
- A full charge will supply 120 minutes of cordless runtime.
- To maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable battery, it is highly recommended to fully discharge and then recharge the trimmer for 3 hours every 6 months.
WET/DRY FEATURE
This device is water-resistant. It may be exposed to splashing water in the
shower and can be rinsed clean under the faucet, but should never be
completely submerged in water.
TRIMMER CHARGING
PRECAUTIONS
- Avoid charging the battery at temperatures below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C).
- Avoid charging the battery in direct sunlight or near a radiating heat source.
- Even though the trimmer may not be used for an extended period of time, charge once a month to preserve battery life.
- The power cord cannot be replaced. If it is damaged, the DC adapter should be discarded.
CORDLESS OPERATION
- Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the USB adaptor with an output of 5.0V DC, 1000mA, insert the Micro USB plug into the bottom of the trimmer and then plug it into a suitable outlet and switch The LED light will appear when the adapter is correctly inserted into the appliance and connected to the outlet.
- Once the appliance is fully charged, the green LED light will go on. Unplug the adapter from the outlet, then the appliance, and prepare for use.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
REMOVING THE BLADE SET
- Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
- Place your thumb against the smaller cutter and push up to remove the blade set.
REPLACING THE BLADE SET
- Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
- Align the back prong of the trimmer blade with the guide slot on the trimmer housing, place your thumb on top of the blade and snap it Into
OILING THE BLADES (OIL INCLUDED)
- Oil the trimmer blades once a month.
- Turn the trimmer on.
- Hold and point the blades downward.
- Spread one drop of oil across the blades
- Turn the trimmer off and wipe away any excess
NOTE:
- Do not over-oil the blades, as this can damage the motor.
- Do not oil the motor bearing, as It is permanently lubricated.

BLADE CARE
- Brush away any loose hair that collects In the blades.
- Store the trimmer in a safe
- Sharpen or replace both blades at the same time when servicing your
- Only use Conair blades with this trimmer (see Parts & Accessories form).

OUTLINING YOUR BEARD

Start with a clean, slightly damp beard (NOT WET).

Comb through your beard in the direction it grows naturally.
-
Begin under your jawline.
-
Trim from your chin upward, toward your ears.
-
Finish upper outline across cheeks.
TRIMMING YOUR BEARD
-
On the longest setting, begin trimming your beard using smooth, even strokes. Start with your sideburns and work downward toward your (Never attempt to trim against the natural growth of your beard because the hair will be cut too short.)

If you decide you want a closer trim, adjust the 5-position comb attachment to a shorter setting and go over your beard until you achieve the desired length.
BLENDING THE JAWLINE
Attach a jawline comb to the trimmer, hold the trimmer in an upright position and begin trimming under your jawline, using short, even strokes.
TRIMMING YOUR MUSTACHE

Start with a clean, slightly damp mustache (NOT WET).

Comb through your mustache in the direction it grows.
-
Trim your mustache from the top down; finish by outlining the bottom of your mustache.
-
Start with the 5-position attachment comb on the longest setting, as you can always go back and shorten the length as desired.
ROTARY NOSE & EAR TRIMMER
-
Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
-
Insert the pin of the trimmer body into the hexagonal hole of the nose and ear trimmer head as shown (Fig. 1).

Press and snap the trimmer head onto the body as shown (Fig. 2).
-
Use the trimmer in a circular motion.
-
To detach the nose and ear trimmer: Hold the trimmer as shown (Fig. 3), with the thumb pressing the top, front part of the trimmer head, and snap it off.
BODY GROOMER
- Ensure the appliance is switched off.
- Attach the body groomer head by taking off the current head and snapping the body groomer head into the base of the appliance.
- Switch the trimmer on.
- Hold the trimmer flat against the skin.
- Move the trimmer upward and outward through the hair, against the direction of the hair
- Make sure to be particularly careful when trimming sensitive areas.
- The trimmer will work most efficiently when cutting through the hair at its own speed.
- Never switch the appliance off while in the hair.
- To remove the body groomer attachment, place your thumb on the back of the attachment and push up.
BODY GROOMER ATTACHMENT
- Ensure the appliance is switched off.
- Attach the body groomer head by taking off the current head and snapping the body groomer head into the base of the appliance.
- Attach the comb guide by placing on top of the body groomer’s head and pressing it down (see Fig. 4).
- To remove the body groomer attachment, place your thumb on the side of the attachment and push up (see Fig. 5).

- Using a small Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screws at the back of the trimmer.
- Remove the bottom housing and cut the battery Bring the battery to the nearest collection center for proper disposal. DO NOT throw the battery into the normal municipal waste system.

24 months from the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in

service center listed on the back, together with your purchase receipt.
California residents need only provide proof of purchase and should call
1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a purchase
receipt, the warranty period shall be 24 months from the date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 24-MONTH
DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations
may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY,
