Introduction

Creates a soundstage on the same level as any large system. Two 2.5″ drivers, a 0.5″ silk dome tweeter, and injection molded cones are included. On a shelf or against the wall, the APERIODIC-TUNED REAR PORT provides bass extension and amplifies the audio. It’s meant to align the tweeter and mid-bass acoustic centers in the same plane, reducing diffraction and distortions and guaranteeing that the proper sounds reach you at the same time. You can create an immersive surround sound system by adding four to eight satellite speakers and a subwoofer of your choosing to this center channel, depending on the size and requirements of your room.

The center channel connects to a receiver simply like any other speaker, no matter how you set it up. You can now enjoy great audio, expert engineering, strong construction, and a magnificent theatre experience right at home with this value-priced center channel.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For sizing/installing under a 6-inch depth mantle, what is the height and depth of the unit?
Dimensions of the product: 3.5 deep x 15 long x 4 inches high

  • Is it possible that I received a bad tweet?
Verify that your speaker wire is connected correctly from the amp to the speaker (red to red, black to black), and that your center channel works with another speaker in the amplifier’s test mode. If all of these still results in merely tweeter sound, I’d suggest you’ve got a dud. Mine is fantastic…

  • What outputs do I use from a Polk subwoofer that is supplied from a powered mixer to connect this?
This is for a surround sound system with 5.1 channels. This center speaker will be connected to the AMP’s center speaker ports. If your AMP doesn’t have any other connections, the subwoofer’s outputs should be linked to the primary speaker. Connect it to the other ports if it has them. Because the impedance may not match, the output from a powered mixer is intended for pro audio equipment rather than Hifi. You can daisy chain them if they match.

  • Is it possible to use it on its own? Is it necessary for me to use more speakers?
I imagine it might be used as a stand-alone speaker while being designed as a Centre speaker. I can’t think of a reason why not.

  • Is it possible to remove the grill cover?
I got this for my father, so I don’t have it in front of me to double- check. However, I’m very certain I removed the grill while setting up his system to inspect the speakers. I wish I could be more conclusive, but I hope this information is useful.

  • What is the difference in size between the two 2.5? “What are mid-range drivers?
    About4-5″

  • Is it compatible with the Polk audio monitor60 series ii?
    It does, in fact.

  • What is the compatibility of this Centre speaker with the Polk T15 bookshelf speakers?
This Centre speaker is excellent. I paired it with Polk bookshelf speakers to complete the look.

  • What kind of speaker mount is appropriate for this Centre channel? Above a fireplace and below a mantle is where I need to put it.
The speaker comes with a wall mount bracket that can be mounted to the wall with either a nail or a screw.
