After taking your Robot out of the box, please remove all protective
packaging and the two white bumper guards located on either side of the bumper. These will prevent your Robot from navigating as it was designed to, please see steps below for setting up your Robot for first use:
Charging:

Plug in docking station against the wall in an area that has hard floor and 40 inches of clearance on all sides

Place docking station tray against the wall

Place robot onto charging dock and turn on
- Allow 4-5 hours for the first charge – Robot may be fully charged when only showing 2 battery lights in the BISSELL Connect App

The robot may return to the dock if it thinks it’s cleaned the entire accessible area, sometimes before the entire battery is consumed

Dry Mode:
- Insert dirt tank
- Clear any objects from the cleaning path and around stairs
- Turn robot on to clean either using the BISSELL Connect App, or by pressing the Start/Pause button on the top of the Robot
Wet Mode:

Remove water tank cap by twisting and pulling up

Fill water tank with water to the water fill line

Pour BISSELL formula into water tank to the formula line

Put cap back onto water tank by twisting until lined up with the lock

Insert water tank back into robot
- Keep water tank level when transporting it back to the SpinWave robot

Clear any objects from the cleaning path and around stairs

Begin cleaning using the BISSELL Connect App, or by pressing the Start/Pause button on the top of the robot
Cleaning Modes & Patterns:

Adjust your robot’s pattern and suction or flow mode by clicking on the pattern & mode on the bottom of the robot screen in the App

Auto:
- Turn the machine on manually hitting the Start/Pause button or turn the machine on in the App
- Schedule a clean for the machine to run Auto cleaning > Follow steps HERE to set up a schedule

Spot:
- Set your robot in the area where you want it to Spot Clean
- Manually start Spot cleaning by tapping the Start/Pause button 3 times
- You can also start Spot cleaning in the app by choosing the Spot pattern button and choosing apply
- Spot cleaning automatically defaults to Max flow or suction

Modes (only available to change in the App):
- Mode controls the suction power or flow rate of the robot, depending if you are using dry or wet mode
- Your robot will default to Mid suction or flow rate in Auto cleaning
