The True Wireless Earbuds (TWS) Airdopes 171 come equipped with 6mm drivers for immersive sound, 380mAh carry cum charging case and offers a playtime of up to 10 hours and a battery capacity of 43mAh for each earbud. Now you can indulge in a blissful audio experience for up to 3 hours in a go. It has the IPX4-rated shield to offer resistance against water and dust scares. Its latest Bluetooth v5.0 offers seamless instant connectivity.

Charging
How can I charge the case?
Step1: To charge the case, plug one end of the cable into the case and
connect the other end to a computer or a wall adapter or a power bank.
Step2: Red LED lights indicate that the charging case is being charged.
Once the charging case gets fully charged, the LED turn into white.
Note: The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.
How to charge the earbuds?
- To charge the earbuds, put the earbuds into the charging case in their correct orientation.
- A solid Red LED will indicate that the earbuds are being charged. Once fully charged, the LED indicator turns in to Green for 1 minute.
- Once the earbuds are fully charged, the charging case automatically switches off to save power.
Note: Before using the earbuds for the first time, it is recommended to fully charge the earbuds. Also, please keep the lid of the charging case closed. While charging and use a 5V/2A adaptor.
What to do if the charging case is not charging?
- Check if the stickers on the charging points of the ear pods are removed or not. If not then it is to be removed and the ear pods will start charging once put inside the charging case.
- Check if the charging cable connected to the case is not broken, use other charging cable and also ensure that the charger being used is not of 9V or 12V as that will damage the case. The LED lights located on the charging case indicate the battery status of the case.
What to do if the earbuds are not charging?
- Ensure that the earphone case is charged for charging the earbuds.
- Check to see if the earbuds have been put inside the case in the right orientation, and a white light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
- Clean the magnetic connector pins on the case and connector place on the earbuds with a clean cloth with mild alcohol and check the charging of the earbuds again
- After cleaning, put the left earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
- After cleaning, put the right earbud into the case in desired orientation and close the lid.
- Once both the earbuds are charged, the LED on the case will go off.
What to do if the earbuds are not charging while inside the charging case even when the case is charged?
- Check if the charging pins of the case are clear and there is no obstruction.
- Check if the charging pin of the earbuds are clear and there is no obstruction.
- Check if the orientation of the earbuds inside the case is correct and they have been properly inserted inside the case.
- Check if the pogo pins are clean. You may do so by gently cleaning it cotton swabs with alcohol.
Device Controls
How to Power ON/OFF Airdopes 171?
1. Power ON:
Step 1: To switch the earbuds on (Smart Power On) simply open the lid of
the charging case. OR
Long touch the CTC on both earbuds for 3 seconds to manually power on the
earbuds.
Step 2: Both the earbuds will automatically pair with each other. The
earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode indicated by 3 flashes of Green
LED.
2. Power OFF:
Smart Power Off:
Step1: After usage, remove both the earbuds from your ears.
Step2: Place the earbuds back into the charging case in correct
orientation.
Step3: The earbuds will automatically switch off (and enter into charging
mode).
Manual Power Off:
Step1: Long touch the CTC on both earbud for 8 seconds to manually power
off the earbuds.
Step2: Once the earbuds get turned off, place them back inside the case
and close the lid.
How to factory reset my earbud?
Step 1: Power off the earbuds, long press both the MFBs for up to 10
seconds or until LED blink red and green thrice.
Step 2: Keep the earbuds back inside the case in correct orientation and
close the lid.
Step 3: Congratulations! Your Airdopes 171 has been Reset and ready to
establish connection again.
Below are the cases where factory reset may be helpful
- One earbud is not working
- Earbuds are not getting connected or scanned
- Earbuds gets disconnected during a phone call
- If there are exceptions in usage
How can I activate Voice Assistant?
Long press the MFB for 2 seconds to activate the voice assistant
How to Answer/Hang Up Call?
Single press the MFB on either earbud to answer an incoming call and once
again to hang up an ongoing call
How to Reject a call?
Long press the MFB for 2 seconds to reject incoming calls.
How to Play/Pause Music?
Single tap on either earbud’s MFB to play or pause music.
How to change music tracks?
- When playing music, double press the right earbud’s MFB in order to skip to the next song on the playlist.
- When playing music, double press the left earbud’s MFB in order to return to the previous song on the playlist.
Note: Volume cannot be controlled via earbuds and can only be adjusted via phone/media device.
How can I use a single earbud at a time?
Step 1: Please note that both the earbuds can be used in mono mode. Use
either of the two options; Smart Power On or Manual Power On for switching on
the desired earbud.
Step 2: The selected earbud will automatically enter the connection mode
indicated by alternating Green LED flashes.
Step 3: Turn on Bluetooth on your phone/media device and search for
‘Airdopes 171′ to connect.
Note: To switch to Stereo mode, simply take out the other earbud from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling Stereo usage.You cannot skip tracks or return to the previous tracks in Mono mode.
Poor Sound Quality
What to do if the sound is distorted/low volume/low bass/low quality?
1. Check if connected device does not have any equalizer settings applied.
2. Check if the problem still occurs if the device is moved closer and all
obstacles in the middle are removed.
3. Check if the distortion or quality lowers at all volumes or only at high
volumes.
4. Check the sound on different media players and different devices and if
the distortion happens on all devices or only on specific ones.
5. Check if the problem occurs at all levels of charging or only at low
charging levels.
6. Check if the earbuds do not have water droplets, in case they do, use the
blow dryer to dry out any water from a distance.
7. Check if the earbuds are clogged with ear wax, simply clear the earbuds to
restore the original sound.
What to do if the sound output is muffled?

What to do if the device is not connecting via Bluetooth?
1. Check if the device is in pairing mode and indicating that by alternating
green and red LED flashes on either earbud.
2. Check if the device is in the range of Bluetooth (usually 10m) and if
there are any obstructions in between.
3. Check if the device being connected to supports Bluetooth connections or
not.
4. Check if it is a passcode issue and if so enter 0000 / 1234.
5. Check if the device being connected to does have any software issues or
not – Check to forget the device on Bluetooth, update the mobile software, if
it still does not work try factory resetting the device.
What to do if the device is not entering the stereo mode / is stuck in
mono?
1. Check when both the earbuds are taken out of the charging case, the
earbuds will enter into the Connection Mode, indicated by light blue LED
flashes.
What to do if the device occasionally disconnects/ the right earbud keeps
disconnecting?
1. Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
2. Check if the same problem happens for different devices and media players.
3. Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and
clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it
still affects it.
4. Try factory-resetting the device.
Why is one side of my earbud not working?
Simply the earbuds back in to the case and take them out or perform the
factory reset.
Dysfunctional Voice Assistant
What to do if the voice assistant does not wake up?
Check if the pairing device has the feature enabled. Google Assistant or Siri
should be enabled to use this feature from your device.
Please follow the steps carefully, long touch the CTC for 2 seconds and
release, this should allow Google Assistant or Siri to pop up on the media
screen of the device. Though under some circumstance, this feature may or may
not work on some devices which may be restricted by default.

What to do if the device does not turn ON?
- Check to see if the device has been properly charged first or not. A blue light on the earbuds will indicate they are still being charged. This light will go off once the earbud’s have been completely charged.
- Check if the voltage of the charger is correct for the charging case and if the lights on the bottom are glowing to indicate the charge level.
- Check by switching the earbuds on manually, press and hold the capacitive touch control for 2 seconds until the LED begins to flash in blue.
- Check if the device was not subject to any mishandling, broken wires or exposed to direct sunlight or hazards like fire.
- Check if the charging pins of the case and earbuds have some dirt accumulation or corrosion and clean them with alcohol swab and then put them back in the case for charge and the earbuds should start charging.
What to do if the in-built controls (CTC) of the device are not working?
- Check if the controls do not work while connected to another device
- Check if the media player being used supports such controls and if the controls do not function on call or other media players
- Check if the controls have been physically damaged or exposed to any hazards.
- Check if the control area has some sweat and oil as that might interfere with the capacitive touch control and clean the control area to remove any oil or sweat and the touch control should start working.

What to do if the voice is muffled during calls/ the microphone has muffled input?
- Check if restarting the device resolves the issue.
- Check if dust or ear wax as accumulated near or inside the microphone port, there is no blockage on the microphone.
- Check if sweat or water has gone inside the microphone.
- Check if there are any obstructions between the earbuds and the device and clear them, move the device at a closer range to the earbuds and see if it still affects it.
