OPERATION

You can play audio from an audio device that sends its signal over a Bluetooth connection (e.g., smartphones, tablet computers, etc.). DN- 200BR uses Bluetooth 2.1 + Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) and has a range of up to 82 feet (25 meters). Once you “pair” your Bluetooth device with DN-200BR, they are “connected” wirelessly. You can play audio on your Bluetooth device, and it will be sent out of DN-200BR’s outputs (balanced and unbalanced).

IMPORTANT

  • DN-200BR will not receive audio from a phone call. While using it, we recommend disabling your cellular connection, if possible.
  • Do not use DN-200BR near a microwave oven, which can interfere with the reception.
  • While DN-200BR is paired with a Bluetooth device, other Bluetooth devices cannot pair to it. You must unpair (“disconnect”) the current Bluetooth device from DN-200BR to make it available to others.

TO PAIR YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE TO DN-200BR

  1. If DN-200BR is off, use the included power adapter to connect its power input to your power source. The Status Light will flash slowly.

  2. Make sure your desired Bluetooth device has its Bluetooth connectivity on and is within range. DN-200BR will automatically try to pair with the last-paired Bluetooth device if any.
If you are using that Bluetooth device again, you can start playing audio immediately.
If you want to use a different Bluetooth device, continue to Step 3.

  3. Press and hold DN-200BR’s Pair button for 3 seconds. When the Status Light starts flashing quickly, release the Pair button.

  4. On your Bluetooth device, enter its Bluetooth settings menu, and select DN-200BR.
    NOTE
(Some older Bluetooth devices may require you to enter a PIN. If this is the case, enter 0000 as the PIN.

  5. On your Bluetooth device, start playing audio.

To adjust your volume level, we recommend setting the volume control of each of your devices in the following order

  1. your Bluetooth device
  2. DN-200BR, using its Level Knob
  3. your mixer, if any (its input channel level[s], then its main output level)
  4. your loudspeakers

Set each volume level as high as possible without creating distortion or any “ clipping” of the sound.

IMPORTANT
DN-200BR will not receive audio from a phone call. While using it, we recommend disabling your cellular connection, if possible.

To unpair your Bluetooth device from DN-200BR, do one of the following:

  • Enter your Bluetooth device’s Bluetooth settings menu, and disconnect from DN-200BR.
  • Press and hold DN-200BR’s Pair button for 3 seconds, and then release it. DN-200BR will unpair from your Bluetooth device and be available to pair to another one.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the function of a Bluetooth audio receiver?
A Bluetooth Receiver converts a non-Bluetooth device, such as a speaker, docking station, HiFi, headphones, AV receiver, or car stereo, to Bluetooth, allowing it to receive audio from a Bluetooth-enabled device.

  • Are Denon receivers equipped with Bluetooth?
You can now listen to audio from new Denon AV and Stereo receivers available in 2019 using Bluetooth headphones (see the list of Denon receivers that support the “Bluetooth-headphones-output” function at the bottom).

  • Is it possible to set up a Denon receiver without a television?
The unit does not require the usage of a television. By clicking the BACK button on your remote and following the on-screen instructions, you can bypass the setup assistant.

  • My phone won’t connect to my Denon receiver for some reason.
Turn the Bluetooth headphones’ power on and off again, then try again. Set “Transmitter” to “On” in the Setup Menu by going to “General” > “Bluetooth Transmitter.” Check to see if this device is already linked to a set of Bluetooth headphones.

  • Is it possible to turn my Denon receiver into a wireless device?
When the unit is turned on, press and hold the TUNE + and TUNE – buttons on the main unit for at least 3 seconds. When the message “Connect your Wi-Fi device to Wi-Fi network called “Denon AVR-S750H” appears in the display, connect the wireless LAN of the PC or tablet to “Denon AVR-S750H.”

  • Can I connect my Denon receiver to wireless speakers?
It’s called “HEOS Built-in,” and it uses Wi-Fi to connect Denon’s home theatre receivers, wireless speakers, and even compatible sound bars.

  • Is Bluetooth capable of stereo transmission?
A Bluetooth adapter can be used to play music from your smart device on any stereo having either an analogue or digital audio out. To be compatible with most stereo systems, most Bluetooth audio receivers have both of these connections. Analog gadgets work by transferring data via electricity.

  • What may a Bluetooth receiver be used for?
A Bluetooth receiver can be connected to your analogue or digital audio system, allowing you to stream music and podcasts from your phone to the speaker. Any audio system may be made wireless with this method, transforming your stereo into a Bluetooth-controllable gadget.

  • What is the purpose of a Bluetooth adapter?
A Bluetooth adapter is a plug-and-play gadget that connects to a computer’s USB port and allows the computer to connect to a Jabra device through Bluetooth.

  • What is the difference between Bluetooth Tx and Rx?
The word RX means “receive,” as in “received.” TX is outgoing and transmitting.
