Specified Use
The PowerX3 high torque attachment is intended for use with the Metabo devices BE 1300 Quick (6.00593), BE 75 Quick (6.00585), BS 18 LTX BL Quick (6.02197), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02109), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02193), BS 18 LTX X3 Quick (6.02201), SB 18 LTX BL Quick (6.02199) and SB 18 LTX Quick (6.02200), BS 18 LTX-X3 Quick (6.02201), BS 18 LTX BL Q I (6.02351), BS 18 LTX3 BL Q I (6.02355). Depending on the machine used, the special auxiliary handle supplied must be used, with the correct length. The BE 1300 Quick (6.00593), BE 75 Quick (6.00585), BS 18 LTX BL Quick (6.02197), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02109), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02193), BS 18 LTX X3 Quick (6.02201), SB 18 LTX BL Quick (6.02199) and SB 18 LTX Quick (6.02200), BS 18 LTX-X3 Quick (6.02201), BS 18 LTX BL Q I (6.02351), BS 18 LTX3 BL Q I (6.02355) are fitted with a special profile on the collar. In addition, the machine, PowerX3, and auxiliary handle are designed to match each other perfectly. For safety reasons, PowerX3 must not be used with other machines. The user bears sole responsibility for any damage caused by improper use. Generally accepted accident prevention regulations and the enclosed safety information must be observed.

Before using the machine, carefully read through and familiarise yourself with
all the enclosed safety information and the Operating Instructions. Keep all
enclosed documentation for future reference, and ensure that you only pass on
your device together with this documentation.
Also, observe the operating instructions of the drive motor.
Use the auxiliary handle provided for the particular machine, with the correct
length:
- 380 mm for BE 1300 Quick (6.00593), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02109) (Item no.: 314001350);
- 640 mm for BE 75 Quick (6.00585), BS 18 LTX BL Quick (6.02197), BS 18 LTX Quick (6.02193), BS 18 LTX X3 Quick (6.02201), SB
18 LTX BL Quick (6.02199), SB 18 LTX Quick (6.02200), BS 18 LTX-X3 Quick (6.02201), BS 18 LTX BL Q I (6.02351), BS 18 LTX-3 BL Q I (6.02355) (Item no.: 314001340).
It is designed to cope with high torque. The auxiliary handle and PowerX3 have to be installed correctly. Loss of control can cause personal injury.
Very high reaction torque can occur!
Always hold the PowerX3 and machine with both hands using the handles
provided, stand in a steady position and concentrate on the work.
Do not use on ladders or when working at heights. A damaged or cracked
auxiliary handle must be replaced. Never operate a device with a defective
auxiliary handle.
Multiple PowerX3 units must not be fitted in series.
Assembling the auxiliary handle
Fasten together the handle parts with screws as illustrated and tighten firmly by hand.
To fit
– Push the PowerX3 all the way onto the machine
(1) (the profiles of the components are in mesh).
– Adjust the clamping force (2) using the setscrew: the clamping force is set
correctly if the force is required to move the clamping lever (3) downwards to
the stop and the
PowerX3 is attached firmly to the device.
– Apply enough force to move the clamping lever (3) downwards as far as it
will go and thus fasten the PowerX3.
– Push the auxiliary handle all the way onto the machine (4) (the profiles of
the components are in mesh).
– Tighten the auxiliary handle (5) by applying force.
– Check the handle and PowerX3 are installed securely.

Repairs to devices must be carried out by qualified specialists only!
