Introduction

PAIRING YOUR SB221 VIA BLUETOOTH

• In the power-off mode, press and hold the multifunction for 7-9 seconds until the LED alternately flashes between red and blue.
• Pair with your device via search/add new Bluetooth on the media device.
• The S8221 will beep as confirmation that the headset has paired with the media device
• If a PIN code prompts, enter 0000.

CONFIRM SUCCESSFUL PAIRING

Your device will show that SB221 is “paired.” Unsuccessful pairing:

1. LED may still be flashing red and blue, search on your device again for the new device.
2. If the paring is still unsuccessful, power down by pressing and holding down multi-function button for 4 seconds and then re-start from the previous step “Pair ng your SB221 via Bluetooth;’ or contact SoundBot at support@volcus.com for additional support.
3. SB221 will automatically exit pairing mode within 5 minutes of idle time or inactivity and shut down in another 5 minutes.

OTHER CONTROLS

• Mute/Unmute the microphone during a call: Press & hold – button for 3 seconds.
• Transfer calls between SB221 and the mobile phone: Press & hold the + button for 2 seconds.

VOICE COMMAND (ON SUPPORTED PHONE ONLY)

• Voice dialing for supported Siri or Android devices: Press both + & – buttons simultaneously, followed by an alert tone to indicate activation of the voice dialing function. Say the desired command or name from the phone contact list to dial.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

8B221 uses a rechargeable battery. A normal charging process takes about 2-3 hours. The red LED will turn off when charging is completed. When the battery is nearly used up, the red LED will flash twice every 15 seconds and there will also be a sound alert from the headset. Please re-charge the headset. Please make sure the battery has been fully charged for your first 3 uses to ensure the battery’s best performance.

Always use the correct AC Power Adapter to charge the headset. Using an incorrect power supply device will cause damage and void the warranty. Upon completion of charging, please unplug the charging cable from 8B221. Do not put and leave the headset in charging mode after it’s fully charged. This will shorten the lifetime of the battery. Do not use the headset in extreme weather conditions. It is recommended to keep the environment temperature between 15 and 25 degrees. Do not install, place or use the headset near any source of heat such as a stove, radiator, oven, toaster, coffee maker or other apparatus (including microwave oven) that gives off heat.
