OPERATING INSTRUCTION
POWER SUPPLY
AC Operation
Insert one end of the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN socket located at
the rear of the unit and the other end to the wall outlet.
DC (battery) Operation
- To power from batteries, you must disconnect the power cable from the unit.
- Insert three batteries, type R20, UM1 or D cells (not included) into the battery compartment and then close the compartment door.
Note:

Check your batteries regularly. Old or discharged batteries should be replaced.
f the unit is not to be used for some time or is being run exclusively on AC
electrical current, remove batteries from the battery compartment to avoid leakage. Do not
combine old batteries with new ones. Do not combine alkalic, standard (carbon- zinc} or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
Warning: * Before using this unit, please check if the local mains voltage meets this unit’s requirements.
Do not plug or unplug the power cable when your hands are wet. -
When planning not to use the unit for long periods of time (i.e. vacation etc.)
disconnect the plug from the wall outlet. And remove the batteries.
Radio- Tur on the radio by turning the VOLUME CONTROL KNO6 to the ON position.
- Select the desired wave band (AM / FM / SW1 / SW2) by RADIO BANO SELECTOR.
- Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME CONTROL KNOB.
- Tune to a radio station using FREQUENCY TUNING KNOB.
FM 87.5 – 108 MHz
AM 530 – 1600 kHz
SW1 3.2 – 10.0 MHz
SW2 10.0 – 16.0 MHz
To improve reception:
– For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM Reception incline and
tum the aerial, reduce its length if the FiM-signal is too strong (very close
to a transmitter).
– For AM, the set is provided with a built-In aerial, so there is no need to
use the telescopic aerial. Tum the set to find the best position.
– Do not place the unit in the vicinity of high-frequency sources of
interference such as a mobile phone, or wifi…
Volume
Adjust the sound with the tuning VOLUME CONTROL KNOB.
You may connect headphones (not included) to 3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK.
The speakers will turn off automatically. Avoid listening to headphones at
high volume levels to prevent possible hearing damage.

PRECAUTIONS

For AC operation, make sure the voltage is compatible. Aways use the supplied AC power cord: never use other AC power cords.

Always disconnect the AC power cord from the AC power source when it is not in use.

Do not leave the battens in the compartment for a long time. Remove the batteries to avoid leakage and damage.

Do not expose the unit to extreme temperature or high humidity to ensure normal functioning for a long lifetime. Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight and don’t use it in the vicinity of heat sources or naked flame.
For instance, never place the unit in bathing areas or around stoves and radiators. -
If you find the unit is not working properly, please take it to your nearest services center Do not attempt to repair by yourself.

To clean the unit, just use a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, thinners, or solvents
Warning:
- To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
- To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet, refer to a service agent or qualified engineer only.

Warranty conditions
The warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.
This product is warranted for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase
to the end-user.
The warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only
to the customer goods used for common domestic use. The claim for service can
be applied either at the dealer’s shop where the product was bought or at
below mentioned authorized serv. ce shops. The end-user is obligated to set up
a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of the
warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the
claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards)
products will be accepted. In case of an eligible warranty claim the warranty
period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till
the date of taking over the product by the end-user, or the date the end-user
is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, the
end-user is obligated to certify his claim with the duly completed following
documents: receipt, certificate of warranty, and certificate of installation.
This warranty is void especially if apply as follows:
- Defects that were put on sale.
- Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
- The product was damaged by unprofessional ar wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose that has been designed for.
- The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
- The product was damaged by dirt, accident of force majeure (natural disaster, fire, and flood).
- Defects on functionality caused by low duality of signal, electromagnetic field interference, etc.
- The product was mechanically damaged (e.g. broken button, fall).
- Damage caused by the use of unsuitable media, fillings, expendable supplies (batteries), or by unsuitable working conditions (e.g. high temperatures, high humidity, quakes}.
- Repair, modification or other failure action to the product by an unauthorized person.
- end-user did not prove enough of his right to claim (time and place of purchase).
- Data on presented documents differs from data on products.
- Cases where the claiming product cannot be identified according to the presented documents (e.g. the serial number or the warranty seal has been damaged}.
