Please read these instructions, before using the MelbitsmPOD. When you use the MelbitsmPOD with the Melbits™POD app, please read the instructions for your smart device. If this product will be used by young children, it should be read and explained to them by an adult. A manufacturer may change product specifications and update the information regarding the product from time to time. For the latest version of this manual, please refer to www.melbotes (this service may not be available in some countries).

Please read and observe the health and safety information. Failure to do so could result in injury or product damage and will render the warranty void. Adults should supervise the use of this product by children.

WARNING -BATTERY

Battery included: Non-removable non-replaceable, rechargeable LI-ION J.7V 350mAh battery.
MelbilsmPOD contains a rechargeable llthium ion battery, Leakage of ingredients contained within the battery, or the
combustion products of the ingredients, can cause personal injury as well as damage to your Melbits111POD. If battery
leakage occurs, avoid cootact with skin. If contact occurs, immediately wash thoroughly with soap and water. If liquid
leaking from a battery comes into contact with your eyes, immediately flush thoroughly with water and see a doctor.
If the battery is overheated or crushed there’s a risk of fire, explosion and burn.

• Do not expose the battery to extreme physical shock, bration, or liquids.
• Do not disassemble, attempt to repair, or deform the battery.
• Do not expose the battery to microwaves, high temperatures above60°C (140°F) or dispose of the battery in a fire.
• Do not touch the terminals of the battery or cause a short between the terminals with a metal object.
• For the purpose of recharging the battery use on the supplied manging cord with a standard USB power diarger/outlet (DC 5V-0.5A).
• Dispose the product according to your local waste and recycling regulations, Battery removal for recycling must be perfonned by an adult or qualified professional. Battery removal will destroy the product.

WARNING – ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Only use an USB adapter that is compatible with this product (DC 5V-0.5A) for the purpose of rediarging the battery and only with the supplied changing cord. When connecting the charging cord to  n USB adapter make sure it is orieotated correctly. When disconnecting the charging cord from the USB, pull from the connector without too much force.

• Do not use this product while changing.
• Do not sleep near the product when it is charging.
• Do not charge during an electrical thunderstorm.
• If you hear a strange noise or smell smoke while charging unplug immediately from the power supply and contact support@melbot.es,
• Do not touch the charging connections with metallic objects.
• Do not disassemble or try to repair this product.

WARNING -RADIO FREQUENCY INTERFERENCE

The accessory can emit radio waves that can affect the operation of nearby electronics, including cardiac pacemakers.

• Do not operate this accessory within 25 cm (10 inches) of a pacemaker.
• If you have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, do not use this accessory without first consulting your doctor or the manufacturer of your medical device.
• Obseive and follow all regulations and rules regarding use of wireless devices in locations such as hospitals, airports, and on board aircraft. Operations in those locations may interfere with or cause malfunctions of equipment, with resulting injuries to persons or damage to property.

Melbits1111POD and Melbits111POD APP contains flashing effects. A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts when exposed to certain light patterns or lashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a television screen or when playing video games may trigger epileptic seizures or blackouts in these individuals. These conditions may trigger previously undetected epileptic symptoms or seizures in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy. If you, or anyone In your family has an epileptic condition or has had
seizures of any kind, consult your physician before playing.

CAREFUL USAGE

• Always be mindful of your surroundings when playing.
• Kids should play under the supervision of an adult.
• Charge the product at least once every six months to prevent battery damage.
• If the product gets dirty gently clean with a soft cloth.
• Exposure to temperatures above 60° (140’F) and under 0° (Jl’F) should be avoided.
• Do not hold the product against eat or eyeballs.
• Do not alter the decoration pattern of Melbits™POD, otherwise, some features may stop working.

HOW TO USE

STEP1 – CHARGE THE DEVICE

Use the provided USB-c charging cord only with DC 5V-0.5A USB charge (not included) Like in the illustration.

Battery level

• When the battery is low Melbits™POD will do J short beeps with a RED LED blink, every 5 minutes.
• When the battery is completely empty Melbils™POD will do J longer beeps with a RED GLOW, then the Melbitsm POD will stop working, any incubation challenge will have to be restarted.
• When the MelbilsmPOD is connected to a charger and battery is charging, the LED will continuously glow RED.
• When the battery is completely charged, the LED will glow GREEN.

Charging time

• Normal charging time should be around 1 h 30m for a full diarge.

Recommended charger

• Use only USB diargers that provide a DC 5V-0.5A (not provided).

Download app, run It and allow all suggested permissions to enjoy all the game features. Look for”Melbils POD” on App Store or Google Play or scan this QR code to download:

Minimum device requirements
elbitsmPOD APP is only compatible with tablets and smartphones equipped with Bluetooth” 4.0 and with operative systems iOS 10.0 and Android 4.4 Kitka! or later. For optimal experience, the device must have ARKit or ARcore capabilities.

STEP 3 PLAYTIME

Open app and Follow screen instructions to pair Melbits,.POD for the first time and play.

TROUBLESHOOTING

NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLACE THE MELBITSmPOD ON TOP OF YOUR DEVICE ON BLINKING CIRnE SCREEN

• Please make sure that MelbltsmPOD battery is diarged by shaking the device a little.
• Please make sure that the device has Bluetooth• 4.0 capability and it is turned on.
• Please make sure that the Screen Sensor on the base of Melbits111POD is not dirty or obstructed.
• Please Make sure that the blinking circle on the device screen and Melbits111POD base are completely aligned.
• Please make sure that device screen is not broken or contains any dead pixels.
• Please make sure that the screen brightness is set to maximum on the device.
• Please make sure that the device screen is not exposed to direct sunlight.

IFTHERE ARE SOME FEATURES OF THE APP THAT DON1 WORKS PROPERLY
Please double check that MelbitsmPOD APP has the following permissions: Camera and Bluetooth’. Close the app and shut it down from the task manager. Then restart the app.

IF MELBITS POD OR MELBITS”‘POD APP BECOMES UNRESPONSIVE WHEN PLAYING AND BATTERY 15 CHARGED

Please press VERY GENTLY the reset pinhole button using a paperclip until you feel a little vibration, then release. Melbits ™ POD will then reboot and will do three little vibrations. Any Mel bit data inside will be lost.
