SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance. Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old. This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:
- Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surroundings
- Farms
- Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
- Guest rooms or similar
Attention: This appliance cannot be used with an external timer or a separate remote control.
- Read all instructions before use.
- Before use, check if the voltage stated on the appliance corresponds with the voltage of the power net at your home.
- Do not let the cord hang on a hot surface or on the edge of a table or counter top.
- Never use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged, after malfunction or when the appliance itself is damaged. In that case, take the appliance to the nearest qualified service center for check-up and repair.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near or by children.
- The use of accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer can cause fire, electrical shock or injuries
- Unplug the appliance when it is not in use, before assembling or disassembling any parts and before cleaning the appliance. Put all buttons and knobs into the ‘off’ position and unplug the appliance by grasping the plug. Never unplug by pulling the cord.
- Never place this appliance near a gas stove or electrical stove or in a place where it may come into contact with a warm appliance.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
- Only use the appliance for its intended use.
- Always use the appliance on a steady, dry and level surface.
- Only use the appliance for domestic use. The manufacturer can not be held responsible for accidents that result from improper use of the appliance or not following the instructions described in this manual.
- All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or its aftersales service.
- Never immerse the appliance, the cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
- Make sure that children do not touch the cord or appliance.
- Keep the cord away from sharp edges and hot parts or other heat sources.
- Before use, remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
- Do not leave the ash vacuum unattended when it is plugged in. Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use.
- Do not pull the power cord. Do not use the power cord as a handle. Do not close a door on the power cord or do not pull the cord around corners or sharp edges. Do not place the ash cleaner on the power cord.
- Do not place any objects into the openings of the ash vacuum. Do not use the ash vacuum if any of the openings is blocked. Keep openings free from lint, dust, hairs or other objects that may obstruct the air flow.
- This appliance produces suction power. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other body parts away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not remove any burning or smoking objects, like cigarettes, matches or very hot ashes.
- Do not use the appliance without the dust container or filter.
- Do not use the appliance to remove inflammable liquids like gasoline or do not use the appliance in places where such liquids may be present.
- Store the appliance indoors in a cool, dry area.
- Switch off the appliance every 15 minutes for 1 minute to make sure that the motor can cool down. If failing to do so, the motor might be damaged.
- Do not use the appliance for longer than 4 hours a day (breaks included).

USE
- Unlock the clips and remove the upper part of the appliance. Remove the accessories from the dust container.
- Connect the tube to the hose. If you want to clean precisely, attach the crevice nozzle to the tube.
- Make sure that the black iron rack is seated inside the dust bag to prevent the dust bag from being sucked in by the motor. Also make sure that the dust bag is properly attached to the dust container. The rubber edge of the dust bag should be wrapped around the edge of the dust container so that the dust bag will be kept into place during use.
- Replace the upper part onto the dust container and lock with the clips.
- Attach the hose to the connection on the dust container.
- Plug in the power cord.
- Press the on/off switch to turn the appliance on and off.
EMPTYING THE DUST CONTAINER
- When the dust container is full, it needs to be emptied as quickly as possible.
- Unlock the clips to be able to remove the upper part of the appliance and open the dust container.
- Empty the dust container.
- Place the upper part back onto the dust container and lock with the clips.
MAINTENANCE
Warning: if the filter is filled with dust or if the suction power reduces dramatically, the appliance needs to be cleaned in time. This enhances the operation of the appliance and prolongs the lifecycle of the appliance. Never use the ash vacuum without the filter.
- Remove the filter (n°12).
- Clean the appliance thoroughly. The dust bag can be cleaned with a compressor, so that all small particals can be blown out. The dust container and the upper part can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid the use of abrasive cleaners at any cost.
- Let all parts dry thoroughly (air dry only).
- Make sure that the filter is placed back correcty and that the filter is wrapped tight around the edge. The left picture indicates a well placed filter, whereas the right picture shows a filter that is not placed back correctly. Please notice the difference.
WARRANTY
This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The guarantee is issued with the original till receipt. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.
