CARE & MAINTENANCE

CLEANING & STORAGE
When not in use, store the scooter in a dry and cool location. Do not leave the scooter exposed to direct sunlight or in a damp/wet location. This can accelerate tyre aging, corrosion, or even compromise the battery pack.
To clean the scooter use a damp cloth and wipe away the dirt & debris. Ensure the power is turned off and the charging cable is unplugged with the rubber flap is securely closed to prevent any moisture from getting into the electronic components. Do not pressure wash the scooter as this will cause the electronic systems to fail. Alcohol, gasoline,
kerosene or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents should also be avoided when cleaning the scooter.

BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Only original parts are permitted to be used in the scooter. Any third-party batteries or accessories can cause a failure & will void the warranty.
Do not store the scooter in a location where the ambient temperature is higher than 50°C or lower than -20°C, this includes leaving the scooter in a car under direct sunlight or for an extended time.
If the scooter is left for long periods of time between uses, it is recommended to fully charge the battery before the next use. Charging the battery before it is depleted can help prolong the life of the battery.
NOTE: Charging the battery takes ~5-6 hours. Each battery has a built-in chip that records a log of charging and discharging times. If the battery is left depleted for a prolonged period of time it will be unable to be recharged and not be covered by the standard warranty.

ADJUSTING THE DISC BRAKE
If the disc brake is too tight, use the supplied Allen key to loosen the screws on the caliper, and readjust the brake cable. Shortening the exposed cable will cause the brake to use less pressure. Lengthening the cable will cause the brake to become more responsive.

ADJUSTING THE HANDLEBARS
If the handlebars and stem sway during use, use provided Allen key to tighten the screws on the folding mechanism.
