IMPORTANT MEASURES OF SAFETY

  • The appliance is designed solely for domestic and not for professional use.
  • Do not use the appliance for any other purpose.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Avoid electric shocks and do not expose the appliance to water or other liquids.
  • The safety button avoids an unintentional start of the slicing machine. When you have finished cutting, always set the safety button to “0”.
  • Withdraw the electric plug before removing parts and cleaning the appliance.
  • Do not use the appliance for longer than ten minutes at any one time. Allow it to cool before continuing to work.
  • Do not use the appliance for cutting frozen food or bones.
  • Do not use the appliance, unless the blade is well in place.
  • Handle the blade with the greatest possible care when you are removing it, cleaning it, or replacing it in the machine.
  • Do not touch the cutting edge of the blade.
  • Note that the blade continues to revolve for a moment after the appliance has been turned off.
  • To avoid any danger of injury, the food must always be cut using the food board and pressure plate. Always use the food board and pressure plate, unless the size and shape of the piece to be cut do not allow it.
  • After using and before cleaning the appliance, always set the cut thickness adjustment and the safety button to “0”.
  • Do not use this appliance, if the plug or the electric cable have become damaged, if it functions badly, if it has fallen on the floor, or after it has been immersed in water. Take the appliance to your retailer for checking and repair.
  • Do not place the electric cable on the edge of the table or on a hot surface.
  • If the electric cable has become damaged, it must be replaced by an approved repairer possessing the required tooling.
  • Do not use any accessories, which were not supplied with the appliance.
  • Don’t let the appliance be used by children.
  • Exercise care, if the appliance is being used by invalids or close to invalids.

CAREFULLY KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS SAFE

This appliance can be used by children, starting from the age of 8 and up. And by persons with a physical or sensorly limitation as well as, mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. On the condition that these persons have received the necessary instruction on how to use this appliance in a safe way and they must also know the dangers that can occur in using this appliance. Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance, cannot be done by children younger than 8 year old. This appliance is suitable to be in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as :

  •  Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or another similar professional surrounding.
  •  Farms
  •  Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
  •  Guest rooms or similar

Attention : This appliance can not be used with an external timer or separate remote control.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  • Place the slicing machine on a flat, stable support, in order to prevent it from sliding.
  • Take care that the on/off button is set off before introducing the plug into the electric socket.
  • Use an alternating current plug, which is suitable for the voltage shown on the appliance .
  • Select the desired slicing thickness.
  • The slice thickness can be adjusted from 1 to 15. After use, always reset the cut thickness to 0.
  • The slicing machine can be used for meat, bread, vegetables and cheese.
  • In order to cut it, place the food on the board. Cut the food by sliding the board. To avoid any risk of injury, always cut the food using the board.
  • When you have finished cutting, turn off the slicer.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always withdraw the power plug before cleaning.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water
  • Before cleaning the appliance, set the cut thickness to “0”.
  • Withdraw the blade of the appliance by using the button located in the centre of the blade, turning it clockwise and pulling it outwards.
  • The blade, the food pressure plate and the food board can now be washed and dried.
  • Take care when handling the very sharp blade. Do not touch the blade with the bare hands.
  • You can clean the rest of the appliance with a soft damp cloth and perhaps a mild detergent.
  • Do not use any sharp objects for removing dirt.

WARRANTY

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.
