General Safety Instructions
Read the instructions for use thoroughly before the initial operation of the
machine.
Observe the instructions shown below carefully to guarantee the high degree of
safety
Caution
- The working site must be clean and tidy. Messy workplace increases the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Mind the conditions of the work environment. Provide for sufficient lighting.
- Do not let any unauthorised persons approach the machine. The visitors and viewers, primarily the children, the ill and infirm persons should not have any access to the working area and kept at a safe distance.
Initial Operation Safety Instructions
Apply suitable safety measures to protect yourself and the others from the risk of accidents.

- Wear protection clothing, primarily breathing mask and protection goggles.
- Do not us the spray gun for other purposes than other that it is assigned for

- Be calm and concentrated when working.
- Do not point with the gun at people and animals.
- Pressure air connection with quick acting coupling only.
- Working pressure to be adjusted with a reducer.
- Do not use oxygen or flammable gases as a source of power.

- Disconnect the unit from the pressure air source before maintenance and troubleshooting.
Detergents and the colour remainders should be disposed of in an environment friendly way
Emergency Action
Apply the first aid adequate to the injury and get qualified medical assistance as quickly as possible. Protect the injured person from more accidents and calm him/her down. For the sake of eventual accident, in accordance with DIN 13164, a workplace has to be fitted with a first-aid kit. It is essential to replace any used material in the first-aid kit immediately after it has been used. If you seek help, state the following pieces of information:

Assigned Use
This spray gun is lightweight pneumatically driven, a varnishing gun for DIY
and professional purposes. It is suitable for varnishing mid-sized areas and
minor repairs. The paint is sprayed with a stream of air very finely and
applied on the article to be sprayed. .
The spray application may be adjusted owing to setting of the circular and
wide beam. The airhead may be shifted vertically or horizontally when the
broad beam is adjusted for larger areas.
Residual Hazards and Protective Action
Materials and Other Substances Hazard Contact-aspiration
When the paint articles are formed in large quantity, lungs may be impaired.
Health-hazardous articles emissions may form in result of operation without
exhaustion. Always wear a respirator. Ideally, provide for exhaustion.
Insufficient local lighting
Insufficient local lighting represents considerable safety hazard. Always
provide for sufficient lighting when working with the unit.
Disposal
Disposal instructions are given by pictographs on the unit or packaging. For meaning of individual symbols refer to chapter “Symbols on Unit.“
Operator Requirements
The operator shall read the instruction manual carefully before using the unit.
Qualification
No special qualification is required for use of the unit except for detailed direction by a professional.
Minimum Age
Only persons above 16 years of age are allowed to work with the unit. .
Exempted from the provision is the use of the juvenile trainees if they work
in the course of their professional training with an aim to obtain the skill
under trainer supervision.
Training
Use of the unit requires adequate lesson by a professional or the use of the manual only. Special training is not required.

Assembly and Initial Operation
The spray gun is fully assembled.
Operation
Never spray foodstuff or chemicals!
The paint can and air hose must be attached to the spray gun firm and tight.
The optimum air pressure for varnishing is 3 – 3.5 bar subject to viscosity
and the paint process condition (to be found out if necessary)
The optimum spray application is at a distance of 15 – 20 cm approximately. Too small distance and too fast or too slow moves make the spray application poor.
Tip: Make a test spray on a piece of cardboard before every application. .

Caution: Always check on overheating protection first!
The paint beam is intermittent or spasmodic.
- Too little paint in the can.
- The gun held aslant.
- The part with paint blocked.
- Loosened/damaged nozzle
- Viscosity too high.
- Jammed hole in the lid.
Needle sealing or centre core worn.
Spray application partial only.
- Contaminated or damaged airhead.
- The paint sticks to the nozzle or damaged parts.
Uneven spray application and drops formation.

Inspections and servicing
After being used, the spray gun must always be cleaned thoroughly. Pour in
undiluted solvent to the container and spray with the gun on the cloth or
absorbent surface until there is no more remaining paint in the solvent. Clean
the gun from the outside with a cloth soaked in the solvent. Before cleaning
the gun thoroughly, fully unscrew the paint control lock nut (4) while looking
out for the spring. Then, pull out the nozzle needle, unscrew the front ring
(11) and remove the nozzle (10) punched head. Unscrew the nozzle using the
spanner. Put all the components to a container with undiluted solvent for a
few hours. Dry out the components thoroughly and refit the gun.
In doing so, proceed in the reverse order than when dismantling.
Inspections and Maintenance Safety Instructions
Only a unit maintained and cared for regularly may be a satisfactory aid. Lack of maintenance and care may result in unforeseen accidents and injuries.
