Design

• Rays : Direct rays
• Wearing: Hanging around the neck with a lanyard, or wearing on the pocket with a buckle.
• Thermometry: Click the button on the left side of the scanner.
• Scanning: Click the button on the right side of the scanner.

Charging

Fast charging K18 Smart Badge Scanner according to the following picture and text.

• Confirm two ends of the USB cable. Connect the small end with the USB interface of Badge Scanner and connect the other end with a power adapter;
• Plug the connected adapter into the mains socket;
• The indicator light of the Badge Scanner turns red and keeps on, and the battery icon on the screen turns to a USB cable icon, which indicates the charging status of the scanner;
• The battery icon on the screen turns to a USB cable icon, and the indicator light of Badge Scanner turns green and keeps on, which indicates that the charging is completed.
• Do not look at the scanning window during the charging process or the red light from the scanner will hurt your eyes directly.

Wearing

• Wearing Method (1): Put the buckle of a removable lanyard through the lanyard hole of the Badge Scanner, and press the buckle so that the buckle is locked and the scanner can be worn around the neck.

• Wearing Method (2): Take off the lanyard in method (1) and wear Badge The scanner is on the outside of the chest pocket with the sheet metal.

FAQ

How to change different wearing?

Smart Badge Scanner can be worn around the neck or on the outside of the chest pocket according to different scenarios. To switch between different wearing ways, just attach or take off the removable lanyard.

Different light indicators and status

• A flash of green light: successful scanning
• A double flash of red light while touching: low battery
• The light turns up to green for 1 second and then goes out: successful Bluetooth connection
• The light turns up to blue for 1 second and then goes out: Bluetooth disconnection
• The light turns up to red, green, and blue in turn: reset
• A double flash of yellow light: identifying bar code

Abnormal Bluetooth connection?

• If the green light (which indicates successful Bluetooth connection) does not turn up after the normal operation, scan the barcode “Restore Bluetooth Name” and let stand for 10 seconds and connect again after that.

• Scan bar code “Factory Reset” and Smart Badge Scanner will disconnect with terminal devices. All functions that have been set (e.g. scanning ways, Bluetooth names and vibration) will be reset to factory settings

Attention

1.  Do not stare into the scanning window;
2. Please scan in the proper range of DOF;
3. Do not knock on or beat the product in order to avoid damage;
4. Please keep the balance of internal and external temperature of the working environment;
5. Scan at an angle while reading bar code for higher reading efficiency;
6. Do not expose the product to rain or water in order to avoid damage;
7. Do not use the product in a high humidity environment.

Maintenance

• Keep scanning window clean;
• Do not scratch scanning window with hard and rough materials;
• Please clean the scanning window with a soft cloth (e.g. eyeglass cloth);
• Do not spray any liquid on the scanning window;
• The supplier is exempt from warranty liability for damage caused by improper maintenance.
