Radio Alarm Clock

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AND STORAGE
This sign warns the user about the presence of important maintenance (repair)
and operation instructions in the documentation that is attached to this
device.
This sign warns the user about the presence of uninsulated parts in the device
body that is under-voltage and can lead to electric shock.
- Caution: To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover (or back panel). Do not carry out repairs yourself, this may lead to malfunctions in the operation. In case of problems, contact an authorized service center.
- To avoid electric shock, do not connect the plug to extension cords or other connectors if the contact pins do not fit completely into the holes.
- Protect the device from moisture, do not touch it with wet hands. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock or fire.
- The device is designed for use in normal climatic conditions. Extreme climatic conditions (temperatures below 0°C or above 45°C, extremely high humidity) can cause problems and damage the electronic components of the device.
- Do not leave the device and accessories unattended. Keep them out of the reach of children and pets. Small parts of the device can cause suffocation.
The equipment is designed to work in residential and commercial areas, public places, and industrial areas with small and medium power consumption, without exposure to harmful and dangerous production factors.
The equipment is intended for operation without the constant presence of maintenance personnel.
REQUIREMENTS TO TRANSPORTATION
Transportation of equipment should be carried out in the original packaging in
covered vehicles by any means of transport.
PURPOSE
This radio alarm is designed to wake up the user, listen to radio stations and
display the time.
DESCRIPTION OF THE LED DISPLAY

LED DISPLAY
Display the Clock and the radio frequency. -
AL1-B INDICATOR
This indicator shows that the unit is in ALARM 1 buzzer mode. -
AL1-R INDICATOR
This indicator shows that the unit is in ALARM 1 radio mode. -
AL2-B INDICATOR
This indicator shows that the unit is in ALARM 2 buzzer mode. -
AL2-R INDICATOR
This indicator shows that the unit is in ALARM 2 radio mode. -
SOURCE/AL.OFF BUTTON
Use this button to turn on the radio and select AM or FM band.
Use this button to turn the ALARM off after the Alarm activates. -
MEM/M+/TIME BUTTON
Use this button to set the clock
Use this button to store radio stations in the memory.
Use this button to select the stored radio stations in the memory. -
VOL−/AL2 BUTTON
Use this button to decrease the volume.
Use this button to set the alarm time in ALARM 2. -
VOL+/AL1 BUTTON
Use this button to increase the volume.
Use this button to set the alarm time in ALARM 1 -
SLEEP/SNOOZE BUTTON
Use this button to temporarily suspend the ALARM for a short period.
Use this button to set the sleep time. -
DIMMER BUTTON
• Use this button to select the brightness of the display. -
TUN−/MIN BUTTON
Use this button to search the radio station in the backward direction.
Use this button to adjust the minute in CLOCK or ALARM time. -
TUN+/HR BUTTON
Use this button to search the radio station in the forwarding direction.
Use this button to adjust the hour in CLOCK or ALARM time. -
BATTERY COMPARTMENT

Connect the unit to the AC/DC adaptor. -
FM WIRE ANTENNA
Extend this wire antenna to obtain better FM broadcasting.
Connect the unit to the AC/DC adaptor.
CONNECTING THE UNIT TO THE POWER
Plug one end of the AC adaptor into the DC power Input, and then plug the
other end into the AC wall outlet. Before switching on the unit, make sure
that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on
the rating plate.
BATTERY BACKUP
Insert two pieces of UM-4 batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure to
observe the proper polarity (the «+» and «−» signs) as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
In case of power failure or interrupted AC power, the current time, and alarm
time settings, the stored radio stations are preserved in the memory of the
unit by means of a battery backup function.
SETTING THE CLOCK
- With the unit in CLOCK mode, press and hold the MEM/M+/TIME button for about 1 second, and the time will begin to flash on the LED display.
- Press the TUN+/HR button to adjust the hour.
- Press the TUN−/MIN button to adjust the minute.
- When the correct time is selected, press the MEM/M+/TIME button again to confirm.
SETTING THE ALARMS
- With the unit in CLOCK mode, press the VOL+/AL1 or VOL−/AL2 button. The ALARM time will begin to flash on the LED display.
- Press the TUN+/HR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the TUN−/MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
- When the correct time is selected, press the VOL+/AL1 or VOL−/AL2 button to confirm.
- Press the VOL+/AL1 or VOL−/AL2 to select the ALARM sound mode – buzzer or currently set radio station. The corresponding alarm buzzer or radio indicator will light up.
C ANCEL THE ALARM
In clock mode, press VOL+/AL1 or VOL−/AL2 (3 times) until the alarm indicator
goes off.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
- Whenever the alarm (radio or buzzer) activates, it can be temporarily suspended for a short period of 9 minutes by pressing the SNOOZE/ SLEEP button once.
- The buzzer or radio will then automatically activate again after the 9 minutes SNOOZE period has ended.
- This procedure can be repeated for up to approximately one hour.
TURN OFF THE ALARM
When the Alarm activates, press the SOURCE/AL. OFF button to turn off the
Alarm.
LISTENING TO THE AM/FM RADIO
- Press the SOURCE/AL. OFF button to turn on the radio and select AM or FM band
- Press the TUN+/HR or TUN−/MIN button step by step to tune to the desired radio stations.
- Press and hold the TUN+/HR or TUN−/MIN buttons for approx. 1 second, it will start to search the next radio station in the direction of the search. The search operation simply finds stations with strong signals. Stations with weak reception can only be tuned in manually.
SAVING A RADIO STATION TO THE MEMORY
- Tune the radio to the desired station.
- Press and hold the MEM/M+/TIME button for approx. 1 second, the display will show ‘PXX’ blinking, where XX is the memory station number.
- Press the TUN+/HR or TUN−/MIN button to select the desired memory station number, then press the MEM/ M+/TIME button again to store this radio station in the memory.
- Up to 10 AM and 10 FM radio stations can be stored in the memory.
TO LISTEN TO A SAVED RADIO STATION
- Press the SOURCE/AL.OFF button to select AM or FM band.
- Press the MEM/M+/TIME button to select the stored radio station.
SLEEP TO MUSIC FUNCTION
- This function allows you to listen to the radio while you fall asleep.
- Press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button, the display will show the default sleep time of 90 minutes
- Press the SNOOZE/SLEEP button again to adjust the desired sleep time.
- The options are 90-80-70-60-5040-30-20-10-min. or OFF
- Now you can enjoy listening to the radio for the pre-set period of sleep time. 6. After this pre-set time has elapsed, the unit will switch off automatically. TURN OFF THE RADIO Press and hold the SOURCE/AL OFF button for approximately 1 second, and the radio will turn off.
