Safety Instructions
This product is specially designed based on full Mention to safety. To make sure an accident-free operation, please abide by the guidelines listed below:

  1. Read these instructions.
  2. Keep these instructions.

  5. Do not use this unit near water such as basins, sinks, and showers.
  6. Be sure the unit is well ventilated when in use.
  7. If you want to do the cleaning, please turn off and unplug the unit from the outlet first. Then, clean only with a dry cloth.
  8. Always install the unit on the wall outlet(do not install it on any ceiling outlet) and plug it into the socket tightly along the way.
  9. Do not install the unit on loose, overused, or broken outlets. Installing those outlets can cause the unit to topple and fall, resulting in possible damage or injury. Please consult with a qualified electrician if it’s: time to replace those outlets with the new ones.
  10. Do not install near any heat sources suet as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  11. Do not drop, bend, crush, puncture, disassemble, or burn the unit.
  12. Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the unit has been damaged in any way, such as: when the plug has become damaged when the liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the unit when the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture when the unit has been dropped.
  14. Do not expose this unit to dripping or splashing and ensure that no objects are filled with liquids, such as vases, glass, and pots. And please avoid placing a candle on the unit

Newport Plug-in Speaker Hardware Limited Warranty

USA/CANADA
This Limited Warranty applies only if you purchased your Newport Plug-in Speaker in the United States and Canada from OC Acoustic’s official stores on Amazon or our other authorized retailers.

Introduction

OC Acoustic provides a straightforward warranty that is processed in the most hassle-free way possible. This limited warranty provided by the manufacturer in no way affects a potential statutory warranty provided by law.

30 days Return Policy
When the customer purchases from OC Acoustic’s official stores on Amazon, OC Acoustic follows Amazon.com’s return policy:

  • A new Newport Plug-in Speaker purchased from Amazon.com that didn’t start when they arrived, arrived in damaged condition, or is still in an unopened box can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
  • Amazon.com may test speakers that are returned because they didn’t start when they arrived and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product.
  • Any returned speaker that is damaged through customer misuse is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.

When the customer purchases from OC Acoustic’s authorized retailers, OC Acoustic follows its policies. Please contact our authorized retailers for more details.

Warranty Claims for Quality-Related Issues after 30 days
OC Acoustic warrants that a new Newport Plug- speaker will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use under OC Acoustic’s published user manuals for ONE year from the date of original purchase in its original packaging by you. This warranty is collectively referred to as our “Limited Warranty”.
For quality-related warranty claims, your Newport Plug-speaker will be replaced with a factory refurbished model of equal value when available, otherwise, a new Newport Plug-in Speakerafter you return your original unit in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to our warehouse returned product will be in possession of OC Acoustic.
When OC Acoustic replaces your Newport Plug-in speaker, the newly replaced Newport Plug-in speaker will continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period.

Not Covered Under Warranty:

  • Products without sufficient proof of purchase and a visible serial number in the original fashion
  • Items that have expired their warranty period
  • Cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship
  • Accidents
  • Neglect includes the lack of reasonable and necessary maintenance
  • Disassembly
  • Alterations
  • Repairs through 3rd parties
  • Damage from external causes such as, but not limited to, water damage, exposure to sharp objects, exposure to excessive tone, anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the device and extreme thermal or environmental conditions and damage during shipment
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions contained in your owner’s manual
  • Purchases from unauthorized resellers

Warranty Request:

  1. Go to our support page on com to fill in the form

  2. Please note: You will receive an email requesting you to reply with:
    • A legible copy of your original online purchase receipt, invoice, or order number through OC Acoustic’s official stores on Amazon or OC Acoustic’s authorized retailers • showing the name of the seller, product, and date purchased.
    • The defective item’s serial number and visible proof depicting the defect are required
    • Your shipping address (no POs or APOs please)

  3. After we receive your reply, a Customer service agent will contact you within 48 hours.

Please note more than one type of proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim (such as confirmation of address to an item that was, originally shipped). Also, please be sure to save the original shipping canon because a charge will be made for additional cartons/packaging.
Warranty claims for product defects expire 90 days after opening a warranty claim. It is not possible to process a warranty claim for items flat or no longer within their original warranty timeframe or the 90-cloy warranty claim request period, whichever is longer.

Shipping costs must be covered by you in the following situations:

  • Returning products for any reason other than a proven defect
  • Warranty claims on items taken outside: the original country of purchase
  • Buyer’s accidental returns
  • Returning personal items
  • Returning items claimed to have defects but were found by OC Acoustic’s quality control to be in working condition
  • Returning defective items using international shipping
  • Costs associated with unauthorized returns (any returns made outside of the approved warranty process)
