SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Contact with conductors or components under electrical tension can be lethal.

  • Observe the following safety instructions in order to avoid the risk of electric shock:

  • To avoid the risk of damage to the equipment, use only the AC mains adapter supplied with the equipment.

  • Do not use the equipment if the AC mains adapter, the power cable, or the plug is damaged.

  • Never open the enclosure of the AC mains adapter. There is a risk of electric shock if you touch any contacts or connections under electrical tension or if you modify the electrical or mechanical construction.

  • Protect the equipment against moisture and moisture penetration, and keep it free of dust. Unplug the AC mains adapter immediately in case of contact with moisture.
    Unplug the AC mains adapter in case of malfunctions, during thunderstorms, and when cleaning the equipment.

  • Protect the cable against contact with hot surfaces or other sources of hazard, and do not allow it to be pinched.

  • Risk of fatal injury due to electric shock!
    Before cleaning the equipment, switch it off and unplug the power cable from the main receptacle.

  • Risk due to leaking battery fluid from leaking batteries (regular or rechargeable) can cause injuries (skin irritation) or damage to the equipment. Wear safety gloves.

  • If you suspect that the equipment is damaged, always have it checked by an expert before using it again.

  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.

  • Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

  • The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

  • Caution: Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

  • Warning: To prevent injury, this apparatus must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.

  • Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.

  • The AC mains adaptor is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

GETTING STARTED

  • Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
  • Place the appliance on a stable surface and make sure there is 10 cm. free of space around the appliance.
  • Connect both the parent unit and the baby unit to the provided power adaptors. On the baby unit, a blue LED will light up.
  • Press the power button of the parent unit to switch it on. Press it again to switch it off.
  • NOTE: Charging the parent unit fully before use is recommended.
    This will allow the unit to operate on battery in the event of a power failure.

USE

Pairing the units

  1. Press and hold the pair button on the baby unit until the pairing indicator LED flashes.
  2. Press the menu/zoom button on the parent unit.
  3. Use the volume/brightness buttons to select the channel menu
  4. Press OK to confirm.
    ⇨ If successful, the monitor shows the live view of the baby unit.
    ⇨ NOTE: if no image appears, repeat the previous steps.

Night vision
The baby unit has 6 high-intensity infrared LEDs for picking up clear images in the dark.

Talk function
Press and hold the intercom button on the parent unit to talk to your baby through the baby unit speaker. The microphone icon will be shown at the top of the display.
To disable the talk function, release the intercom button.

Volume
You can adjust the volume by pressing the volume increase, or volume decrease buttons when the screen is in playing mode.

Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the screen by pressing the brightness increase, or decrease buttons when the screen is in playing mode.

Zoom
Press and hold the menu/zoom button to zoom in or out.

Night light ON/OFF
You can set the night light in various colors. The cycle is as follows;
ON > White > Red > Green > Blue > Color gradient > OFF .
You can set the modes by:

  • Pressing the pair button on the baby unit to turn the night light on.
  • Press and hold the OK button on the parent unit.

Mode button
Press the mode button to switch to display mode. The switching sequence is:
Cam 1 > Cam 2 > Cam 3 > Cam 4 > Cam 1+2 > Cam 3+4 > Single camera automatic cycle.
NOTE: When a camera is not paired, the cam will not be displayed.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • The probe is not waterproof. Please wipe with a clean and dry cotton swab to clean the probe on the inside.
  • The body of the thermometer is not water-resistant. Never put the thermometer under a running tap or submerge it into water. Use a soft and dry cloth to clean it. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Store the thermometer in a cool and dry location. Free from dust and away from direct sunlight.
