cradling and charging

Cradling the device

  •  Sliding the  device into the device with slight angle
  •  Slightly push the device back
  •  The device is sitting on the cradle in a secure manner

Charging the device

  •  Connect the power supply to the cradle, make sure the cradle orange LED is blinking
  •  Put the device on the cradle
  •  Charging status LED on device
    •  Red LED = charging
    •  Green LED = 90% or above charged

Important notes
8 hours is recommended for the 1st time charging. Recharge of 5000mAh will take 3-4 hours for 80% battery capacity.

Installing hand strap

  •  holder. Remove screws from hand strap
  •  Separate the velcro of the hand strap.
  •  Feed the loose end of the extended handstrap through the handstrap clip
  •  Wrap the hand strap around the clip and fasten together to close the strap
  •  Install the screws back to handstrap holder.

Enabling & disabling WiFi

Enabling WiFi

  •  Tap Apps icon, then select Settings
  •  Go to Network connections, turn on WiFi
  •  Tap the WiFi text on the setting screen
  •  A list of WiFi networks appears, pick the desired AP and setup as the wireless AP properties as usual

Disabling WiFi

  •  Tap Apps icon, then select Settings
  •  Go to Network connections, turn off WiFi

Enabling & disabling BT

Enabling Bluetooth

  •  Tap Apps icon, then select Setting
  •  Go to Network connections, turn on Bluetooth
  •  Tap the Blyetooth text on the setting screen
  •  A list of bluetooth devices appears, pick the desired device to pair up

Disabling Bluetooth

  •  Tap Apps icon, then select Settings
  •  Go to Network connections, turn off Bluetooth

Reboot and factory data reset

Performing reboot

  •  Long press power button
  • . A menu appears , keep to hold the power key until the device reboot

  •  Tap Apps icon, then select Settings
  •  In Personal section, select Back up and reset
  •  Select Factory data reset, click Reset phone

Refreshing RT55 ROMLEXICON LE45 Mobile ComputeR 5

  •  Copy  RT55 ROM zip file to the root directory of the microSD card
  •  Open the battery cover, remove the battery
  •  Insert the microSD card
  •  Install the battery to the battery compartment
  •  Press and hold the power button and the F2 button for few seconds
  •  Continue to press and hold the F2 button and power button until the update screen appears
  •  Press F2 and select [Recovery Mode], then press 8 10 F1 to select. Update menu will then appear.
  •  Use F2 button to select update from SD card, press the F4 button to confirm
  •  Select the update file from SD card, press F4 button to confirm
  •  After complete installation, select wipe factory reset, ww.lexicontech.com press F4 button to confirm
  •  Select Yes – delete all us, press enter

Enabling scanner

  •  Remove the scanner film on the scanner window
  •  Tap Apps icon, then select ScanDemo
  •  Press the scanner button on the device to scan the barcode
  •  Barcode data will be shown on the screenLEXICON LE45 Mobile ComputeR 7

Battery warning

Battery safety guidelines

  •  Use manufacturer’s original battery and charger only. Any incompatible battery or charger may result in a fire, explosion, or other hazard.
  •  Do not disassemble or open, crush, bend or deform, puncture, or shred the battery.
  •  Do not short-circuit a battery by allowing conductive materials to contact the battery terminals.
  •  Do not immerse or expose the battery to water or other liquids.
  •  Do not dispose of batteries in fire or place the battery into a microwave oven or dryer.
  •  If battery leakage is found, avoid the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes.
  •  If contact has been made, rinse the affected area with water and seek medical advice.
  •  If you suspect damage to your equipment or battery, contact the manufacturer for inspection.
  •  Follow the local regulations to dispose or recycle the used re-chargeable batteries.
