from the values listed above. Take appropriate measures to protect yourself
against vibration stress. Take the entire work sequence into consideration
including times at which the device is not working under load or is switched
off. Appropriate measures include among other things regular care and
maintenance of the device and tool attachments, keeping your hands warm,
taking regular breaks and good work sequence planning.

Before starting the equipment
Important
The machine is supplied without batteries and without a charger!
Warning
Always remove the battery pack before making adjustments to the equipment.
Fitting the blower tube (Fig. 3a/b) Plug the blower tube onto the motor unit. The groove (A) must be pushed into the guide (B) when you do this. Turn the blower tube to the right to secure it in its fi nal position on the motor unit. Caution! The tube must be turned as far as it will go to make sure it is fi rmly secured in position.
Fitting the battery (Fig. 4) Important
Before fitting the battery you must always set the On/Off slide switch to OFF
(see section 6.1). Press the push-lock button of the battery pack as shown in
Fig. 4 and push the battery pack into the mount provided. When the battery
pack is positioned as in Fig. 4, make sure that the push-lock button latches
in place! To remove the battery pack, proceed in reverse order.
Charging the battery (Fig. 5)
- Take the battery pack out of the equipment. Do this by pressing the push lock button.
- Check that your mains voltage is the same as that marked on the rating plate of the battery charger. Insert the power plug of the charger into the socket outlet. The green LED will then begin to blink.
- Insert the battery pack into the charger.
- In section 7. „Charger indicator“ you will find a table with an explanation of the LED indicator on the charger.
The battery pack can become a little warm during the charging. This is normal.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check:
- whether there is the voltage at the socket-outlet
- whether there is good contact at the charging contacts.
If the battery pack still fails to charge, send
- the charging unit
- and the battery pack to our customer service center.
To ensure that items are properly packaged and delivered when you send them to us, please contact our customer service or the point of sale at which the equipment was purchased. When shipping or disposing of batteries and cordless tools, always ensure that they are packed individually in plastic bags to prevent short circuits and fires.
To ensure that the battery pack provides a long service, you should take care to recharge it promptly. You must recharge the battery pack when you notice that the performance of the device drops. Never allow the battery pack to become fully discharged. This will cause it to develop a defect.
Battery capacity indicator Press the button for the battery capacity indicator (A). The battery capacity indicator (B) shows the charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs are lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) are lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED flashes:
If the battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs blink:
The battery temperature is too low. Remove the battery from the equipment, and
keep it at room temperature for one day. If the fault reoccurs, this means
that the rechargeable battery has undergone exhaustive discharge and is
defective. Remove the battery from the equipment. Never use or charge a
defective battery.
Fitting the roof guttering cleaning set (only GP-LB 18/200 Li GK)
The roof guttering cleaning set consists of a connection adapter, three
extension tubes, and a final bend. Fig. 7: Screw the connection adapter (Item
5) onto an extension tube (Item 6). Fig. 8/8a: Depending on your requirements,
screw on more extension tubes (Item 6) or the final bend (Item 7). Fig. 9/9a:
Plug the connection adapter (Item 5) onto the blower tube (Item 1). The groove
(A) must be pushed into the guide (B) when you do this. By turning to the
right, the connection adapter will be secured on the blower tube upon reaching
its final position.

- You can increase the blowing velocity by pressing the SPEED pushbutton (Item 3b). Bars appear on the display (Item 3a) according to the selected blowing velocity. 1 bar = lowest blowing velocity 4 bars = highest blowing velocity
- If you press the SPEED pushbutton (Item 3b) again when the highest blowing velocity is active, the equipment will return to the lowest blowing velocity. Use the equipment only with the blowing velocity needed for the job.
Turbo mode
If you need a higher blowing velocity for a short time, you can press the
TURBO button (Item 3c). Pressing the TURBO button will increase the speed for
a short time, providing the maximum blowing velocity. All the bars will appear
in the display (Item 3a). Important: To minimize noise and maximize battery
operating time, you should not press the TURBO button any longer than
necessary.
Blowing foliage
- Turn on the equipment (see section 6.1).

- Move slowly in order to free the roof gutting of debris.
Cleaning, maintenance, and ordering of spare parts
Danger
Always pull out the battery pack before starting any cleaning work.
Cleaning
- Keep all safety devices, air vents, and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
