Thank you for purchasing your 7” Digital Photo Frame. Your Photo Frame is compatible with SD, MMC, XD, and MS type memory cards. Please read this user’s guide before installing, setting up, or using your digital frame

Viewing Photos on Your Frame

Your frame can read memory cards up to 2GB. It automatically displays saved photos and photos from a memory card in the SD/MMC/XD/MS slot.

  1. Press the POWER button to turn on the frame.
  2. Insert a memory card into the labeled slot. The frame automatically enters Slide Show mode after about 3 seconds.
  3. Press PLAY/PAUSE/MODE to enter Browse mode. The frame displays a single image. Use the PREV and NEXT buttons to select a photo.
  4. Press PLAY/PAUSE/MODE again to enter Thumbnail mode. Small images of the memory card’s contents appear. Use the PREV, NEXT, UP, and DOWN buttons to navigate the pictures.+
  5. Press MENU to access the main menu.
    Note : The aspect ratio of the screen is 16:9. Photos with different ratios (for example, 7 × 5 or 6 × 4 photos) appear with black bars on the sides. Photos shot in Panoramic mode (with a 16:9 ratio) appear without the bars. This is a normal function of the frame designed to retain image quality.

Copying Photos to Your Frame
To copy photos from a memory card to your frame’s memory:

  1. Locate the photo and press UP/COPY/DELETE.
  2. Select YES when asked if you want to copy the photo, then press PLAY/PAUSE/MODE. The frame can copy up to 14 photos to the frame’s memory.
    Note : You can rotate photos clockwise by pressing ROTATE repeatedly while the photo is on-screen. Rotated photos are copied in the rotated position.

Deleting Photos
To delete a photo from your frame’s memory:

  1. Locate the photo and press UP/COPY/DELETE.
  2. Select YES when asked if you want to delete the photo, then press PLAY/PAUSE/MODE. The frame deletes the photo from the frame’s memory.

Note :The delete function only deletes photos from the frame’s memory, not from a photo card.

Frame Settings

To define frame settings, complete the following steps:

  1. Press MENU to enter the main menu.
  2. Select SETTING and press PLAY/PAUSE/MOD. E The Setup menu appears.
  3. Use the PREV, NEXT, UP, and DOWN buttons to highlight a setting you want to change.
  4. Press PLAY/PAUSE/MODE to select the highlighted option. You can select one of the following options:
  5. Brightness: -3 to +3.
  6. Slide Show Time: 5, 10, or 30 seconds display time for each photo
  7. OSD Language: English, French, or Spanish. The default language is English.
  8. Default: Reset.
  9. Exit Setup Menu: Returns to the main menu.

Cautions and Warnings

  • Do not insert any foreign objects into the frame through openings; do not spill or spray any liquids on or in the frame (this may result in a fire or electric shock). Do not place anything heavy on the frame.
  • To ensure proper ventilation and proper operation, never cover or block slots or openings. Keep the frame away from open flames, such as fires or candles. Do not use the frame in temperatures higher than 95°F/35°C.
  • When cleaning, make sure the frame is unplugged from the power source. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a cloth lightly dampened with water for cleaning the housing only.
  • To avoid damaging your photo frame, use the provided power adapter or an adapter with proper specifications

Warranty Information

America Action, Inc. (“AXN”) Product Warranty Information

What the warranty covers:
America Action, Inc. (“AXN”) warrants your AXN products against defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period from the original date of purchase, subject to the following terms and conditions. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, AXN will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product with a similar product provided the purchaser adheres to certain return authorization procedures and guidelines.

How long the warranty is effective:
AXN products are warranted for one (1) year for parts and ninety (90) days for labor, starting from the original date of purchase/invoice.

What brand(s) can be covered under the warranty:
Any “ACTION” and “AXION” branded products sold by America Action, Inc.

Whom the warranty protects:
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser within the continental of USA .

What the warranty does not cover:

  1. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
  2. Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
  3. A. Accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of nature, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
  4. B. Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by AXN.
  5. C. Any damage of the product due to shipment.
  6. D. Removal from or installation to the product.
  7. E. Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
  8. F. Use of supplies or parts not meeting AXN’s specifications.
  9. G. Normal wear and tear.
  10. H. Battery Leakage.
  11. I. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.
  12. Cosmetic damage by the purchaser, such as markings, discoloration, scratches, dents, gouges or any other defacement.
  13. Physically damaged products by the purchaser, such as broken PCB, Housing, and damaged LCD Module.
  14. No Defect Found (product returned to AXN as defective but failure is not duplicated by AXN’s test method).
  15. Customer instruction, installation, set-up adjustments, or signal reception problems.
  16. Rechargeable batteries.
  17. Product without proof of purchase. (The proof of purchase should be one of the following documents: purchase receipt, gift receipt, sales invoice, and packing list that contains the product model number, price, vendor, and purchase date.)
  18. Ninety (90) days after the original purchase date of the AXN product, the customer is responsible for the shipping fees incurred for the product delivery to and from the AXN service center.

How to get service:

  1. For additional information on obtaining an extended warranty service, contact your AXN dealer or AXN’s Customer Service Department by e-mailing to: customerservice@axionzone.com To obtain warranty service, you will be required to do one of the following: fill out an online RMA Request Form, print the form, fill it out and fax it to 1-909-869-5545, or call AXN’s Customer Service number at 1-909-869-6600. You will be asked to provide the following information:
  2. A. Customer information (name, daytime phone number, and/or residential address).
  3. B. Proof of your purchase (purchase receipt, gift receipt, sales invoice, and/or packing list).
  4. C. Product model number.
  5. D. Product serial number.
  6. E. A description of the problem.
  7. F. Payment information (If any payment is required, you will be asked to provide this information beforehand. Currently, we only accept personal checks, money orders or cashier’s checks. The time for us to clear a personal check is approximately 20 days; 10 days for any money order or cashier check.
  8. AXN will contact the customer upon receipt of the RMA Request Form, and will issue an RMA number if the RMA Request Form is completed and delivered as requested.
  9. Please take or ship the RMA product to AXN or any AXN-authorized service center with the RMA number marked on the outside of the packing. All RMA products should be returned in secured packaging. preferably in the original package, with the complete set of accessories. We recommend that you insure the package in case of loss or damage during shipping.
  10. Upon receiving the RMA product, if the correct RMA number is clearly marked on the packaging, and if the repair payment is pre-paid or is enclosed with the package, depending on the condition of the defects, AXN will repair or replace all RMA products, and ship the product back to the customer.
  11. For additional information or the name of the nearest AXN service center, please contact your AXN dealer or AXN Customer Service.

Before contacting us:

In many cases, your product may not need repair. Before contacting us, please consult the troubleshooting section in your user’s guide or AXN’s FAQ web page to see if you can easily remedy the problem yourself.

AXN technical support services:

During the period of the product warranty, we support your basic configuration, setup, and troubleshooting questions; and when necessary, we will provide you with all the instructions on how to return your product for repair.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER. AXN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
