Read Manual, Cautions, and Warnings Prior to operation of this equipment.
Protection Against Fire
- Maintain a minimum of 1 foot distance from any type of flame.
- For indoor use only. Do not expose unit to rain or moisture.
- Do not install the unit too close to a heat source.
- Make sure cables are properly secured.
- Maximum surface operating temperature: 130º.
Protection Against Electrical Fire
- Disconnect power before servicing. For connection to main power supply, proceed to page 4. The power supply must be earthed (electronically grounded). This fixture must not be left on for long periods of time.
Protection Against Mechanical Hazards
- Use secondary safety chain when hanging unit.
- Use quality clamps or bolts when positioning unit.
- Do not open unit while it is on. Risk of electrical shock.

Caution
- Do not connect fixture to a dimmer system.
- This unit must be earthed. (Electronically grounded)
- Replace fuse only with the specified type and rating. (F20AL250V)
- This device is equipped with auto switching power supply that will allow the fixture to work from
100V-240V AC 50/60Hz
DMX-512 Connection
The fixture is equipped with 3 and 5 pin XLR Sockets for DMX input and output connection. The sockets are wired in parallel. Only use a shielded twisted pair cable designed for RS-485 and 3 or 5 pin XLR plugs and connectors in order to connect the controller with the fixture or the fixture with another.
Caution
On the last fixture the DMX signal needs to be terminated with a terminator. Pr-manufactured terminator are available for purchase from your Mega-Lite dealer item #P-DMX-T
Installation
Caution
- The Installation must be carried out by an authorized dealer or trained professional.
- Unit may cause severe injures, if you have doubts concerning the safety do not install.
- Unit is to be 24 inches away from flammable materials.
- Use high quality installation equipment to hang the unit.
- Internal Fan Filters must be cleaned periodically as not to block airflow.
When rigging the it is very important that you follow common safety procedures. Rigging requires extensive experience including but not limited to calculating working weight loads, material being used and periodic safety inspections. If you lack these qualifications, do not attempt the installation yourself, instead use a professional structural rigger. When rigging the unit always be secure with a secondary safety attachment. The installation location of the fixture has got to be built in the way that it can hold 10 times the weight for 1 hour with out any failures. Installation should be checked at least one time a year by a skilled professional.
Fixture should not be installed in location were temperature will reach 113°F or colder than 23°F
Cleaning and Maintenance
The following points must be considered during the inspection:

All screws used for installing the device or part of the device have to be tightly connected and must not be corroded.

There must not be any deformations on the housing, fixation and installation spots (ceiling, suspension, trussing).

The electronic power supply cables must not show any damages, material fatigue (e.g. porous cables) or sediments. Further
instructions depending on the installation spot and usage have to be adhered by a skilled installer and any safety problems have to be
removed. -
Fixture housing must only be cleaned from the outside using only soap and water.

Internal fan filters but be cleaned periodically
Note
- Maintenance and service operations are to be carried out by authorized dealers.
Replacing the fuse
- When possible, only replace the fuse with the same type and rating.
Replacing the power cable
- If the power cable of this device becomes damaged, it has to be replaced by authorized dealers or
- trained professionals only.

Display Control
Main Control
The control board on the fixture base is your interface to access and control all the functions on the unit. It’s LCD display gives you a code view of the options and functions. The following will explain each function.
ADDRESS
Press Enter to view the fixture start. Press Enter again to make adjustment to the fixture address from 001 to 473 using the up/down buttons. Press Enter to confirm or Mode to go back. The fixtures start address will need to match the DMX Controllers assigned DMX start channel.
- RUNTIME: Press Enter for information regarding the fixtures time in use
- VERSION: Software version information.
- TEMPERATURE: Information on the lamp temperature
- FAN SPEED: Information of all the units fan speed
RESET
- REBOOT: This function will reset all motor functions.
- DEFAULT DATA: This function will reset to original
- display factory settings
CHANNEL SET: 39
SIGNAL
- DMX 512 Framebot 600
- WDMX = Available on Framebot 600 Pro

- Artnet = Available on Framebot 600 Pro
OFFLINE SET
Sets default setting of fixture losses input signal.
- HOME: Will turn fixture to the home all channels 0 position.
- HOLD: Will hold the last signal received and will not change till receive new DMX command.
FAN MODE
Sets the fixture fan speed
- NORMAL: Will adjust the fan speed automatically depending on the fixtures internal temperature (recommended).
- PERFORMANCE: Fan speed will stay at he highest level to maintain fixtures performance level.
- QUIET: Fixtures lamp output will be reduced to adjust to fixtures safe operating temperature
WIRELESS SET
Links Wireless Solutions DMX (only available on Framebot 600 Pro)
- Link Select link from Wireless Transmitter and Link from the display for Wireless DMX Operation (signal will also need to be switched to WDMX)
- Unlink: Select unlink to disconnect from wireless transmitter

- OFF: Display will invert to base on top view.
- Auto: Display will automatically invert depending base’s position.

- Select from 1-8 programs you would like to record
- EDIT PROGRAM: Adjust fixtures channel to be recorded. Press Enter to confirm. (Playback of programs is done in the Setting section under the Signal menu for Programs)
