DILUTING SOAPS

FOAMA works well with most non-granular, diluted liquid soaps. Each soap varies in the formulation and it may be necessary to try other soaps for better results. When diluting liquid soaps with water, the following mixing guide will help you find the optimal ratio.

MIXIN GUIDE

MOST LIQUID SOAPS

  • To minimize waste, mix a half bottle and then test the foam. Adjust as necessary and ensure the underside of] the pump is kept dry. Swirl bottle to mix, do not shake.

VERY THICK SOAPS

  • ideally, the foam will hold its shape well without any large bubbles. Some small bubbles are okay.
  • If the pump is sputtering and producing large bubbles with sticky foam, add about 20% more water and test again. It may be necessary to cycle water through the pump to clear out excess concentrated soap.
  • if the foam seems light, frothy, and doesn’t clean well, add a small amount of soap to give the foam more structure.

DISPENSING

  • Place a hand under FOAMA’s spout to activate the touchless sensor. A green light is shown while the pump runs.
  • Wait for the cycle to finish or lower hand away from the sensor to stop the cycle early.
  • Quickly double-tap to activate the pump and dispense a pre-set amount of foam. This feature is disabled by LOCK and unaffected by the VOLUME setting.
  • When the battery power begins to run low, a red light will flash while the pump is dispensing. New batteries may be required soon.

VOLUME

  • FOAMA always defaults to the lowest volume after turning on/off Briefly touch to adjust the volume The LED will quickly blink green 1,2 or times to indicate the ne new volume setting.

SETTINGS LOCK

  • While FOAMA is ON, lock touch ke by holding for 6 seconds until a green light is briefly shown. Repeat to unloCk When locked, the only touchless operation is possible, and no other changes can be made. Disable LOCK to power off.  Opening the battery cover will reset the lock.

TIPS

  • FOAMA is only splash-resistant when upright and fully assembled. Do not immerse in water. Wipe with soft damp] cloth to clean.
  • If immersed, remove batteries and pat dry. Allow to dry disassembled overnight before reassembly. Water spray and droplets can trigger the touch button Enable LOCK or move FOAMA away from water spray.
  • If FOAMA will not turn on or turn off when pumping, ensure the battery chamber is dry, check batteries for corrosion and clean thoroughly. See help videos in our FAQ. Rechargeable batteries do not corrode with proper use.
  • Please Note: Some creamy soaps may separate after diluting causing inconsistent foam texture. Consider trying a different Soap. Rinse out the bottle when changing soaps.
  • Twice a year, the pump should be run with clean, warm wate to rinse out all internal soap and any dried soap. See help videos in our FAQ.
