WARRANTY

This appliance has a two-year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures that are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance may be used by children from the age of 8 and up, and also by persons with a physical or sensory limitation, as well as mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance.
Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance.
Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision.
Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old.
This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

  • Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surroundings
  • Farms
  • Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
  • Guest rooms or similar

BATTERY
2 pcs of AAA 1.5V battery.

REPLACING THE BATTERY
Open the lid of the battery compartment at the bottom of your scale.
Place 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries in the compartment, with the plus side at the + sign.
First place the flat side of the battery against the spring and then push the other side down.

OPERATION

  1. Put the scale on a hard and flat surface to guarantee the accuracy of the scale. Avoid carpet or soft surfaces and make sure that there is nothing underneath the scale.
  2. Gently step on the scale. Put your feet evenly on the scale without moving. The scale turns on automatically.
  3. Wait until your weight shown on the display is stable and locked.

AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
When you step off the scale, it will automatically switch off. Auto shut-off occurs approximately 8 seconds after a stable weight is reached.

CHANGE THE WEIGHING UNIT
The scale has the possibility to display the weight in kilo’s (kg) or pounds (lb).

  1. Press the button on the bottom of the scale when the scale is turned on. The current weighing unit will now be indicated on the display.

  2. Press the button again to change the weighing unit.

OVERLOAD INDICATION
“Err” code indicates scale overload.
LOW BATTERY INDICATION
“Lo” code is shown when battery power is low. Please install a new battery.
ERROR DURING WEIGHING
“C” code is shown when an error occurs during weighing. Step back onto the scale to weigh again.

ADVICE FOR USE AND CARE

Attention: the glass surface is slippery when wet. Keep the surface dry.

  • Keep standing still during the course of weighing.
  • Do not strike, shock or drop the scale.
  • Treat the scale with care as it is a precision instrument.
  • Clean the scale with a damp cloth and avoid water getting inside the scale.
  • Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners.
  • Keep the scale in a cool place with dry air.
  • Always keep your scale in a horizontal position.
  • If failed to turn on the scale, check whether the battery is installed, or battery power is low. Insert a new battery or replace the battery.
  • If there is an error on the display or can not turn off the scale for a long time, please take out the battery for about 3 seconds, then install it again. If you cannot resolve the problem, please contact your dealer for consultation.
  • Do not use it for commercial purposes.
