TYPE PLATE

The type plate (the picture is an example) is located on the device.
You are requested not to remove it. The type plate can for example be used to determine, when the item was purchased (view PO) and from which production line (view SN) it originates. This information may be essential with regard to warranty. It also contains important information such as the voltage and power supply which determines the ability to connect the device safe.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

As long as the products are packed, please make sure you never place them upside down. This could damage the appliance. During transport, the product should be placed carefully. Make sure you prevent any drastic vibration during transport. You should never place or store this product outside or in open air for a longer period of time than a few hours (not even packed). It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse without corrosive gasses. When, in case of an emergency, you need to store them temporarily outside, you should take measures to protect them from rain or moisture.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE ENVIRONMENT

  1. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, let the unit stand upright for 4 hours, which will reduce the possibility of the cooling system malfunctioning due to improper handling.

  2. Remove all packaging material and any protective film from the device.

  3. This product should be placed in a balanced and well ventilated spot and its left and right sides should be free from obstacles for more than 20cm. It’s back-side should be free from the obstacles (like a wall etc.) for more than 20cm.

  4. Do not place the appliance on a carpet, a tea towel, tablecloth (vinyl) or another similar surface.

  5. During operation, do not place any stuff in front of the appliance to make sure it could be operated at any time needed.

  6. Never plug the power cord into an extension cord or wall outlet to which multiple devices are connected.

  7. Never put the plug in the socket with wet hands.

  8. The power pressure of this equipment should conform to the supply voltage of this product.

  9. The user should install the suitable power switch, fuse and leakage-protector near to the equipment.

  10. Before usage, this equipment must be connected (safe) to a grounded socket.

  11. Ensure whether all the connections of all the electric elements of the product are firm or not, and whether the safety grounding is reliable or not.

  12. When disconnecting the device from the power, never pull from the cord, only the plug.

  13. When you change the power cable, you should select the same model cable and: it is only allowed to let a professional electrician do this.

  14. If you need to (re)connect, repair or maintain the applaince, do not do this by yourself.
    This is forbidden. This must always be done by a professional electrician.

  15. If there are any abnormal phenomenons during usage, you must stop the appliance directly.
    After checking you can continue to use it as long as it is safe. Do not repair the appliance by yourself. This should always been done by a technical professional.

  16. Never use other parts than the ones which are from CaterCool.
    CaterCool is not taking any responsibilty for damage caused by the use of other (non-related) parts.

DEGREASE

Before operating for the first time, clean the device with warm water, a wet cloth and a small amount of detergent. Do not rinse the appliance under the tap, this could cause serious damage to the appliance.
In addition, make sure that you have dried it properly before you start operating the device.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

  1. Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
  2. Please avoid installing the ice maker in a location where the appliance will come in contact with water or moisture to minimize rusting of metal parts.
  3. The ice maker should not be installed near any heat source or in a location where it will come in direct contact with the sunlight.

REGULAR USE

  1. The ice maker should be cleaned on a regular basis.
  2. The ice maker is not designed to be installed in an outside area such as a garage or a porch. Ambient temperatures of below 7°C or above 32°C will hinder the performance of the appliance.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER

  1. Set the main switch to ON
  2. Normally put the controller at “MID-HIGH” step.
  3. The evaporator might be frosted if the controller is at the “FREEZE” step and the refrigerator capability might be decreased.
  4. The range of the controller is shown, which is divided into steps of “LOW, MID, HIGH and FREEZE”.
  5. The temperature inside the refrigerator goes down if you turn the knob clockwise while the temperature goes up if you turn it anti-clockwise.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not overload the appliance with food as this will influence the cooling process
  • Cool the hot food down to room temperature before you put it into the refrigerator.
  • Never touch compressor to avoid from scald

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS REGARDING MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the device when not in use.
  2. Remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning. Clean the motor unit and the jug separately.
  3. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or place it in the dishwasher.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the socket.
Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when cleaning. The appliance must not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or with a water hose. Use a damp cloth and then dry it.

CLEANING OUTSIDE:

  1. Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the display cabinet and then dry it.

CLEANING INSIDE:

  1. Remove the racks from the display case to clean them with water.
  2. Use a damp cloth to clean the inside of the display cabinet and then dry it.

TO TURN OFF DISPLAY FOR LONG TIME:

  1. Remove all food and unplug it.

  2. Clean inside and outside of the refrigerator and leave the door open for ventilation to prevent for mold.

  3. Clean the condensate tray and wipe it dry.

    • Pay attention! Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap).
      This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;

    • Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;

    • Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry.

    • Before attempting to service the device, make sure that the plug is removed from the mains socket.

NOTE
The following phenomena are not trouble:

  • The murmur of water is heard when the refrigerator is working. It is a normal phenomenon as the coolant is circulating in the system.
  • In wet season, condensation might be found on the outside of the refrigerator. It is not a trouble, which is caused by high humidity. Simply use cloth to wipe it.

If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following:

  1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
  2. Whether the plug and/or the cord is damaged.
    If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.

According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
