CONNECTIVITY

WIRED AUDIO (ANALOG)
Plug the provided USB-C to 3.5mm cable into the headphone USB-C input to engage analog (wired) audio. Headphones are required to be powered ON for ANC and Ambient modes to work.

WIRED AUDIO (DIGITAL)
Plug the provided USB-C to USB-C cable into the headphone USB-C input to engage digital USB (wired) audio up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Headphones will automatically power ON if the device supports digital audio. Phone calls, Multi-Function buttons, and volume controls are not supported when using digital wired audio connections.
Only M&D audio cables are compatible with the MW75. Headphones are not required to be powered ON for wired audio to work.

PAIRING / CONNECT TO A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
The first time you power your headphones ON they will enter pairing mode.
Open the Bluetooth ® menu on your device and select M&D MW75.
Manually activate pairing mode by holding the Power/Pairing button for 4 seconds until the indicator light pulses and the pairing tone is heard. This can be done when the headphones are ON or OFF. Access the Bluetooth menu on your device and select M&D MW75. Hold the button again to cancel pairing mode.

MULTIPOINT
Up to two devices can be connected to the MW75 at one time. When using multipoint, audio content will automatically switch between devices, and phone calls will interrupt active content.

  1. Enter pairing mode and connect to device 1.
  2. Enter pairing mode again and device 1 will disconnect.
  3. Connect to device 2 and turn the headphones OFF.
  4. Turn headphones ON and headphones will automatically connect to devices 1 and 2 simultaneously.
  5. Pause one device and play from the other to swap the headphone connections

ADJUSTABILITY, FIT + COMFORT

The ear pads are connected to the headphones via magnets. To remove, gently pull the ear pad off the headphone. To attach, line up the ear pads with the ear cups. The magnets will help pull and lock the ear pads into place.

POWER ON + CHARGE

Press the Power/Pairing button once to power ON/OFF.
The battery level will be displayed at startup.
To charge, connect MW75 to a power source with the USB-C to USB-C cable.
The USB-C to USB-C cable will engage digital USB (wired) audio if connected to a compatible device.

The headphones will only play while charging if:

  1. The headphones are already connected to a device via Bluetooth ® and playing content before being plugged into the power source.
    OR

  2. The headphones are connected to a computer or supported device via a USB-C to USB-C (digital wired audio) connection. This will be the default unless already connected to Bluetooth when plugged in.

TROUBLESHOOTING

THE HEADPHONES AND DEVICE WILL NOT PAIR:

  1. Make sure the headphones are charged. Cycle power switches OFF and ON.
  2. Turn the Bluetooth ® OFF, then ON again on the source device.
  3. Turn OFF the Bluetooth feature on any other device that is paired with the headphones.
  4. Hold the Power/Pairing button down for 4 seconds to enter pairing mode.
  5. Make sure “M&D MW75” is selected in the Bluetooth device list.

NO AUDIO OR POOR AUDIO QUALITY FROM A CONNECTED BLUETOOTH® DEVICE:

  1. Move the device closer to the headphones, as physical objects between the headphone and the source may obstruct the signal.
  2. Try another music application or try another track.
  3. Try a different audio device.
  4. Disconnect from multipoint and use with only one device at a time.

TROUBLE CONNECTING THE HEADPHONES TO THE M &D CONNECT APP:

  1. Ensure the headphones are connected to your phone’s Bluetooth menu prior to use in the app.
  2. Close and reopen M&D Connect.
  3. Update M&D Connect to the latest version in the app store.
  4. Update your phone to the latest OS.
  5. Disconnect from any other devices the headphones are connected to via multipoint.

FACTORY RESET
Hold the power button for 4 seconds to enter pairing mode. Then simultaneously hold the Vol+ button and Power/Pairing button until LED lights flash red/white and you hear the voice prompt “Factory Reset.” The LED light will flash 4x. The headphones will then be reset.

EAR HEALTH
Our ability to hear is amazing. Treat your ears like the precious tools they are, and they will continue to provide you with exceptional data, as well as a lifetime of incredible sonic experiences.
In general, do not listen “too loud” or for “too long,” and be attentive to your own ears. Ringing, discomfort, or sensitivity to high frequencies and treble may be a signal from your ears that you are pushing them to their limits and causing irreparable damage.
As a general practice, find what seems to be your preferred listening level and then adjust the volume down another 10% or more. Surprisingly, your ears will attune to a slightly lower volume over time, and what seems quiet at first can be perfect for longer listening periods.

NIHL
NIHL is a preventable condition caused by both one-time and extended exposure to excessive decibel (dB) levels. This harm to sensitive inner ear structures is irreversible and people of all ages can be affected. Damage can happen in a single event or gradually over time. One-time exposure to an intense “impulse” sound, such as an explosion, or continued exposure to loud sounds over 85 decibels can cause harm. Indicators of NIHL include hearing loss and tinnitus, a condition of sensing constant ringing, buzzing, or roaring. The NIDCD (National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders) offers this simple rule of thumb: avoid sound exposure that is “too loud, too close, or too long.” Here are some general references to sound levels that occur in everyday life: refrigerator humming (45 dB); normal conversation (60 dB); city traffic (85 dB); motorcycles (95 dB); an MP3 player at full volume (105 dB); sirens (120 dB); firecrackers (150 dB).
