  • When listening to an audio source via your BT-Link, please limit the volume to safe levels to ensure you are able to hear communication and warning alarms from your aircraft.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or service inside of the control box or other parts of BT-Link.This will void your warranty and may result in unexpected performance of your device.

Understanding Controls of BT-Link.

  • A. Volume Control: You can independently adjust the volume from your BT-Link for each ear.
  • B. Power Status/Button: Press and hold for one second to turn ON or OFF BT-Link. LED indicates the power source and its status.
  • C. Bluetooth Status/Button: Press and hold for one second to turn ON or OFF the Bluetooth. LED indicates the Bluetooth status. Additional phone functions are available.
  • D. Aux Input: Use the provided 3.5 mm cable to connect to your audio source without Bluetooth. when put the 3.5mm plug into the jack,there is a voice “line in mode”,when set to line in mode,the bluetooth volume control also can control the line in device volume
  • E. Audio Priority Switch: Controls how Aux audio and transmissions are prioritized.
  • F. Bluetooth Volume or next/previous song : Adjust your Bluetooth device volume,or switch to next/previous songs
  • G. USB type C Input: Power your BT-Link via USB instead of through batteries.

Getting started.

  • Install batteries****
    • Press here and hold then slip to the right or left to open or close the battery box
  • Powering On.****
  • To switch On:
    • Press the power button for more than 1 second and then let go. Then there is a voice “Power ON”
    • If power button is pressed for more than 3 seconds, BT-Link will turn on and then off.
  • To switch Off:
    • Press the power button for 1 second
  • Bluetooth.****
  • To switch on Bluetooth:
    • Press the Bluetooth button for more than 1 second to turn on Bluetooth, BT-Link will begin searching for it.
  • To switch off Bluetooth:
    • Press the Bluetooth button for more than 1 second.
    • On your device,look for the Bluetooth name“BT-Link”If prompted for a code, enter 0000.
    • Tips: BT-Link with bluetooth 5.0 version so can connect 2 bluetooth devices at the same time
    1. Paired to your first device then you need to disable bluetooth function of the first device
    2. Paired to your second device, then enable bleutooth function of the first device,after that both of 2 devices are paired
    • Bluetooth connects with the last devices automatically
    • If no connection is made within 3 seconds, BT-Link will start to search for new devices.
  • Bluetooth Volume or next / previous songs Control****
    • On the side of the BT-Link
    • Long press to adjust the Bluetooth volume
    • When to the Max or Min volume there is DiDi sound
    • Short press to switch to next / previous songs.

USB POWER

Rated INPUT: 5.0V 500mA
  • Bluetooth Phone Functions.

    • Press once to pick up a call;
    • Press once to hang up a call;
    • Press for more than 1 second to decline call;
    • Press twice quickly to redial the last call
  • Headset Volume.****  

    • To adjust the headset volume, please use the volume knobs on the front of your BT-Link.
  • Audio Priority Modes.

    • You may wish to mute your auxiliary audios
    • when you are sending or receiving transmission.
    • AUTO: With incoming transmission,Bluetooth and Aux are muted and resume after transmission ends;
    • MIX: Aux and Bluetooth continue to play with the transmission;
    • Mute: Only transmission are heard,Bluetooth and Aux are muted.
    • Aux In.
    • Use the provided 3.5 mm cable to connect your device to the AUX socket. Adjust the volume of your Aux input from your device an be connected to an external audio source such as a portable audio device or a GPS. Usually you just need one cable with 3 poles male 3.5mm connectors is OK.
    • Tip: Be sure to have the auxiliary audio at a volume that ensures you do not miss any important communications or aircraft sounds.

LED Color Indicators.

  • Main Power Button:
    • Steady Green – Headset is powerd via USB;
    • Flashing Green – Headset is powered by battery;
    • Orange – BT-Link has low battery;
    • Flashing Red – BT-Link will turn off shortly
  • Bluetooth Button:
    • Flashing Blue and Red – Searching for device;
    • Red Flash Twice – Device Disconnected;
    • Blue Flash – Connected;
    • Short Blue Flash – Call is in progress
    • Steady Blue – Aux 3.5mm plug in as line in Mode
  • Mono / Stereo Switch
    • The switch is located on the LEFT side of the back of your BT-Link
    • For most general aviation aircraft, the Mono setting is correct. If you only hear in one side of your headset, please switch to the Stereo mode.
  • Auto Shut Off.
    • You have the option to disable the auto shut off feature. The switch is located on the RIGHT side of the back of your BT-Link.
    • With Auto Shut off enabled:
    • If the BT-Link is not connected to the intercom and there is no aux or bluetooth audio, it will auto shut off in five minutes. If the BT-Link is not connected to the intercom, but there is a Bluetooth or Aux input, it will auto shut off after 60 minutes.
    • If the BT-Link is connected to the intercom,it will not automatically turn off.
      Note: If the BT-Link shuts off unexpectedly after 5 minutes, we recommend disabling the auto shut off feature.
