IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE

  • This appliance may not be used by any persons (including children) with mental disabilities, weak strength or by inexperienced persons, unless they have been properly trained or schooled in the safe use of the appliance, or unless they are properly supervised by a qualified person who is responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • Before connecting this appliance to a power socket, make sure the voltage shown on the rating label of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your power socket.
  • Never use accessories, which have not been supplied with this appliance or which have not been explicitly recommended by the manufacturer for this appliance.
  • Do not place the appliance on window sills or on unstable surfaces. Always place the appliance on an even, dry surface.
  • Make sure that the power cord and plug cannot come in contact with water or dampness.
  • Do not spray the appliance with water or any other liquid. Never wash the motor unit under running water or submerge it in water or another liquid.
  • The appliance is intended and designed for processing a standard amount of food in the household.
  • Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.
  • Do not use the appliance in an industrial environment or outdoors!
  • Do not use sprays in the vicinity of the appliance.
  • Before first use, it is necessary to thoroughly wash the beater and kneading attachments in hot water using kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth.
  • Always turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the power socket if you will not be using it and if you are leaving it without supervision, before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.
  • Before attaching the beater or kneading attachments to the appliance, removing or replacing them, ensure that the appliance is turned off and disconnected from the power socket.
  • Always check that the beater or kneading attachments are properly attached before turning on the appliance.
  • When the kneading or beater attachments are properly attached to the appliance, first submerge them into the ingredients in the bowl and only then put the appliance into operation.
  • Do not turn the appliance on without load. The incorrect use of the appliance may negatively affect its lifetime.
  • Do not allow children to use the appliance without supervision. If you are not using the appliance store it out of reach of children. If children get hold of the appliance without adult supervision, a child could be injured or the appliance could be damaged.
  • Do not place the appliance on an electric or gas stove or in its vicinity, do not place it in the vicinity of an open fire or other equipment or appliances that are a source of heat.
  • If t he power cord is damaged, have it replaced at a professional service centre. It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord/plug.
  • In no case should you attempt to repair the appliance yourself, do not make any alterations to it – danger of injury by electric shock! Entrust all repairs and adjustments of this appliance to a specialized company/service. Tampering with the appliance during the warranty period may void the warranty policy.
  • Do not place the power cord of the appliance near hot surfaces or over sharp objects. Do not place heavy objects on the power cord, position the cord so that it is not stepped on or tripped over. Make sure the power cable does not hang over the edge of a table or that it is not touching a hot surface.
  • Do not disconnect the appliance from the power socket by pulling the power cord – it may damage the power cord/power socket. Disconnect the cable from the power socket by gently pulling the plug of the power cord.

This symbol indicates that the device has double insulation between the dangerous mains voltage and the parts accessible to the user. In the event of repairs, use only identical spare parts.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE

OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

  1. To assemble the appliance, insert the ends of the removable attachments into the holes on the underside of the motor unit. Insert the attachment with the ring into the larger hole and the attachment without the ring into the smaller hole. Push the attachments in until they safely click into position.
  2. Add the ingredients into a bowl.
  3. Submerge the removable attachments into the bowl with the ingredients.
  4. Plug the power cord into an electric power socket. Press the button (3) – the display of the appliance will start fl ashing.
  5. Use the speed setting buttons (5) to select the desired speed. The + button increases the speed, the – button decreases the speed. When the attachments start rotating, the display will immediately start counting down the time. The appliance will automatically stop after 10 minutes of operation.
  6. Turn off the appliance by pressing the button (3) and pull the power cord out of the power socket.
  7. Press the button for the release of the attachments (2) and remove the beater/kneading attachments.

Attention:
The hand mixer is designed for short operation lasting no longer than 10 minutes. After this time has elapsed, turn off the mixer and allow the motor unit to cool down. The mixer can be used again after 30 minutes.

When processing food, we recommend to start at a lower speed and to increase it gradually. You can change the speed setting even while the mixer is running. We recommend that runny doughs and sauces are processed at lower speed levels; this will prevent ingredients from splashing out of the bowl.

Kneading attachments
These are used for preparing yeast dough or dough for noodles, potato dough for dumplings, for mixing minced meat, spreads and puff dough.

  • Processing time: 5-10 minutes
  • Speed: 8-16

Special beater attachments with slits

These are used for preparing batter or sponge cake dough, mashed potatoes, creams, mayonnaise, sauces, cheese desserts, whipped cream or snow from egg whites.

  • Processing time: 2-5 minutes
  • Speed: 1-12
  • Tips:
    For preparing snow from egg whites or whipped cream, one can use the high- performance beaters with slits, which will ensure a firmer snow texture. This will reduce whipping time by half.

Optimal speed selection

  • Level 1: Suitable for kneading dough or mixing ingredients at the fl our:water ratio = 800g: 700g
  • Level 2-3: Low speed, mixing of dry ingredients and adding additional ingredients
  • Level 4: Suitable for mixing liquid ingredients or for adding liquids into dry ingredients
  • Level 5-6: Suitable for preparing bread dough
  • Level 7: Suitable for adding additional ingredients
  • Level 9-10: Medium speed; for mixing cake mixes
  • Level 11: Suitable for beating butter or preparing sugar glazes
  • Level 12-13: Suitable for creating a light fl uffy consistency
  • Level 14: Suitable for preparing mashed potatoes
  • Level 15: Suitable for beating creams, preparing whipped cream
  • Level 16: High speed; suitable for beating egg whites

IMPORTANT NOTICES!
Maximum time of continuous operation is 10 minutes. The highest speed of the beater, kneading attachments is 800 rpm.

Initially beat at a low speed to prevent dough from splashing out. Only thereafter can you change to a higher speed. For easier beating and kneading of dough we recommended soft margarine or butter.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the appliance, always turn it off using the button and disconnect it from the power outlet. It is necessary to thoroughly clean the beaters or kneading attachments after every use in hot water and kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth. The beaters and kneading attachments are intended for short term contact with food (including beverages), i.e. max. 4 hours. For cleaning the motor unit/motor cover, use a cloth dipped in a weak solution of
detergent. Never submerge the motor unit in water or in any other liquid! Do not use thinners or solvents or any abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance – they may damage the surface. If you will not be using the appliance, store it in a dry place out of children’s reach. You can use the cardboard box of the appliance for storing the appliance (after first disassembling it).
