How to connect two HEDD TYPE MK2 satellites with a digital AES interface
- Connect the digital AES signal into the AES input on the rear of the right speaker.
- Set the ANALOG/AES rotary switch on the right speaker to RIGHT.
- Connect the left monitor with a digital AES cable using the AES THROUGH output of the right speaker.
- Set the ANALOG/AES on the left speaker to LEFT.
- We recommend setting VOL. [dB] on both speakers to +12 for the highest possible headroom. Reduce the INP. SENS. [dB] if necessary.
How to connect the BASS subwoofer and two TYPE MK2 satellites with a digital AES interface
- Connect the digital AES signal into the AES input on the rear of the BASS subwoofer.
- Set the ANALOGIAES rotary switch on the BASS to MONO.
- The crossover system will only work if the signal is sent from the BASS through the analog outputs to the satellites.
- Connect the satellites via balanced analog XLR connections and make sure the ANALOG/AES rotary switch is set to ANALOG on both satellites.
- Change the LF RANGE on both speakers to select the FOR SUB (80 Hz) setting.
- Adjust the VOL. [dB] settings on the satellites according to the table below for a neutral setting. individual adjustments might be necessary depending on room behaviour and placement of the speakers.

How to connect two HEDD BASS subwoofers and two HEDD TYPE MK2 satellites with a digital AES interface
- Connect the digital AES signal into the AES input on the rear of the right BASS subwoofer. Make_sure that you select RIGHT on the rotary ANALOGIAES switch. The BASS and the connected satellite are playing the right channel.
- Connect the second BASS over AES using the AES THROUGH output and AES IN. Select the LEFT stereo channel via the ANALOG/AES switch.
- Make sure the ANALOG/AES rotary switch is set to ANALOG on both satellites.
- Connect the satellites with the corresponding BASS via analog XLR cables. The crossover system will only work if the signal is sent from the BASS through the analog outputs to the satellites.
