BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The batteries included in the paintbran ush are for in-store demonstration. Before playing, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries (not included) in the unit. Here’s how:
- Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover from the back of the paintbrush.
- Install two (2) 1.5V AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.
QUICK START
Turn the mode selection dial from Try Me (X) to either silly sounds, colors,
or shapes mode. When moving the dial, make sure the arrow is pointed to the
desired mode. To change the
language from English to French, insert a pointed object (like a pin) to press
the button above the Little Tikes® logo for two seconds.| While in silly
sounds or colors mode, shake the paintbrush. While in shapes mode, shake the
paintbrush and it will instruct you to draw a shape. Try your best to draw the
shape in the air.
• COLOR MODE: The paintbrush’s head will light up.
• SHAPES MODE: For a quick guide of the different shapes, the shapes are
located on the handle of the paintbrush.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Warning! This toy produces flashes that may trigger epilepsy in sensitized individuals.
- Illustrations are for reference only. Styles may vary from the actual contents.
- Please remove all packaging including tags, ties & tacking stitches before giving this product to a child.
- The paintbrush does not actually paint. It is only intended to recognize motion.
- Play is limited in Try Me mode. Before playing, make sure it is on wacky sounds, color or shape mode.
- To conserve battery power, always turn it off (O) after playing.
- Do not use the paintbrush on fragile surfaces.
- Do not hit or throw the paintbrush at people or pets, as doing so may cause injury to the person and irreparable damage to the unit.
- Never aim or hit people’s or pet’s faces.
FEATURES
While in SILLY SOUNDS mode, the paintbrush will make fun, random sounds each
time you shake it.
While in COLORS mode, shake the paintbrush to activate colored lights and
sounds. Practice recognition and identification of seven colors: blue, green,
orange, pink, purple, red, and yellow. It will also light up in that color.
While in SHAPES mode, shake the paintbrush and it will instruct you to draw
one of the seven shapes shown around the handle. Try your best to draw the
shape in the air.
LIMITED WARRANTY
The Little Tikes Company makes fun, high-quality toys. We warrant to the original purchaser that this product is free of defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase (a dated sales receipt is required for proof of purchase). At the sole election of The Little Tikes Company, the only remedies available under this warranty will be the replacement of the defective part or replacement of the product. This warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions. This warranty does not cover abuse, accident, cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period is three (3) months for daycare or commercial purchasers. BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
- Use only size “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries (2 required).
- Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer’s instruction.
- Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
- Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.
